Reproductive health can be done with various approaches, one of which is through reproductive health education based on the Cognitive Psychology Approach (CPA). Juveniles and reproductive health are closely related. The meaning of reproductive health itself is a healthy condition both physically, mentally and socially related to reproductive systems, functions and processes. Cognitive psychology is a science that focuses on how the information process goes or in other words, this psychology focuses more on the event that individuals get information and process it in the brain, then then it is realized in daily behavior. This study aims to find out how reproductive health education based on the Cognitive Psychology Approach (CPA) influences adolescent reproductive health knowledge. The type of research used is quasi-experimental using a pre and post-test approach where students are given interventions to see student knowledge about reproductive health based on the Cognitive Psychology Approach (CPA). The sample in this study was 81 people selected through accidental sampling. The results of this study show the influence of Reproductive Health Education based on the Cognitive Psychology Approach on undergraduate students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. The results of this study are also expected to make a positive contribution in the health sciences so that it has a broad impact on adolescent health conditions and knowledge related to reproductive health based on a Cognitive Psychology Approach (CPA).
This study aims to develop the design of character education through an integrated curriculum in learning activities at UIN of North Sumatra Medan. This research activity is expected to provide a direct contribution to learning activities at UIN of North Sumatra Medan. Specifically, the contribution of this research is expected to contribute to: (1) the lecturers in developing learning that is able to develop and educate student characters, (2) the students of UIN of North Sumatra Medan to have the character as expected by UIN of North Sumatra Medan curriculum, and (3) UIN of North Sumatra Medan in developing character-based learning program design. When character education is taught with an integrated approach in the curriculum, it is a strategic concept to strengthen the values of goodness for the students. This certainly requires a design that can be developed in learning activities for the classroom and implemented by lecturers to students.
This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the integrated biology learning module of the local potential of the Karamunting plant (Rhodomyrtus Tomentosa) for learning activities on Plantae material. This study uses Research and Development (R&D) research methods based on the Thiagarajan methodology with four stages, namely define, design, development and disseminate stages. This research was carried out from July-September 2021 with a research sample of 32 students of class X. The results showed that the percentage of the validity of the assessment by material experts was 87%, media experts was 70%, and the practicality test of biology teacher responses (field practitioners) was 92 % and student responses of 92%. Meanwhile, the results of the test scores for the effectiveness of the biology learning module were proven to increase up to 100% and were able to improve student learning mastery. So, it can be concluded that the integrated biology learning module of the local potential of the Karamunting plant (Rhodomyrtus Tomentosa) as a biology teaching material for class X MAS NU Siborong-borong is valid and effective for learning activities.
