This paper is devoted to theoretical analyze of current-voltage and energetic characteristics of triode high voltage glow discharge electron guns, which are very advanced for using in modern electron beam technologies. Regulation of high voltage discharge current is realized by lighting additional lowvoltage non-self-maintained discharge. Provided theoretical analyze is based on solving of equation of particles balance in anode plasma with taking into account the condition of discharge self-maintaining. Calculated current-voltage and energetic characteristics for different pressure and voltage of additional discharge are given. Obtained theoretical results are comprised with experimental data.
This paper is devoted to theoretical and experimental analyze of self-maintained electron-ion optics of pulse high voltage glow discharge electron guns, which are an advanced instruments to using in modern production. Theoretical analyze is based on solving of equation of particles balance in anode plasma, as well as on defining of plasma boundary form and position by computer analyze of discharge photographs with using image recognizing technique. Experimental investigations have been provided for designed pilot model of electron gun.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
