In this research, the anti‐corrosion properties of water hyacinth roots are studying. Firstly the roots are extracted by hexane solvent and a non‐polar extract is obtained. At a constant temperature (303 K) the inhibition efficiency increases and the corrosion current density decreases with the increasing of the inhibitor concentration. The thermodynamic measurement results show the mixed (chemical and physical) adsorption process and exothermic process.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
