It is known that method studies have a very important role in instrument teaching. Many methods are also written for the baglama. But when examining the methods written for the baglama, it is noticeable that there are many differences in the context of technique and content. One of these differences is the use of baglama performance techniques in various ways from a terminological and symbolic point of view. It is possible to say that the different nomenclature of any performance technique on the baglama and its display with different symbols lead to various problems in terms of education and training. The research is aimed at due diligence and demonstrates a descriptive property. The data was obtained by scanning the source. A total of 35 baglama teaching methods have been identified and these methods have been studied in similar and different aspects. As a result, it has been seen that some of the same performance techniques are used differently in baglama teaching methods, and some of them do not include any performance techniques.
