It is known that method studies have a very important role in instrument teaching. Many methods are also written for the baglama. But when examining the methods written for the baglama, it is noticeable that there are many differences in the context of technique and content. One of these differences is the use of baglama performance techniques in various ways from a terminological and symbolic point of view. It is possible to say that the different nomenclature of any performance technique on the baglama and its display with different symbols lead to various problems in terms of education and training. The research is aimed at due diligence and demonstrates a descriptive property. The data was obtained by scanning the source. A total of 35 baglama teaching methods have been identified and these methods have been studied in similar and different aspects. As a result, it has been seen that some of the same performance techniques are used differently in baglama teaching methods, and some of them do not include any performance techniques.
The sound system commonly used in Turkish music today is the 24-pitch sound system developed by Arel-Ezgi-Uzdilek. Another system used in conjunction with the 24-pitch sound system is the 17-pitch sound system systemized by Safiyyuddin Urmevi. Sound ranges in Turkish music makam sequences were tried to be determined by building on a 24-pitch system. There are differences between these sound systems, and these differences are also reflected in Turkish art music and Turkish folk music instruments. According to the Arel-Ezgi-Uzdilek sound system, when examining the pitch ranges of the Turkish music makam sequences and the current pitch ranges of the baglama, it is seen that a number of discrepancies arise. According to the Arel-Ezgi-Uzdilek sound system, the current pitch structure of the baglama was examined comparatively and the differences were determined from the simple makam sequences of Turkish music with the makam sequences of Çargah, Buselik, Kürdi, Uşşak, Huseyni, Rast and Hejaz. In the study, according to the Arel-Ezgi-Uzdilek sound system, the results were reached that the pitch intervals of the Çargah, Buselik, Kurdi makam series of Turkish Music match the existing pitch intervals of the baglama, and the pitch intervals of the uşşak, Huseyni, Rast, Hejaz makam series do not match, and suggestions for solving the problems arising from these results were presented.
The aim of this study is to analyze and examine the graduate studies published so far on baglama in Turkey in many ways. In addition, it is thought that it will be used as a source in other baglama-related studies in terms of revealing the baglama literature. In this study, purposeful sampling method was used. The universe of the study consists of authorized graduate studies published in Turkey so far and recorded in the YÖK National Dissertation Center database, while the sample consists of 77 master's, 25 doctoral and 3 proficiency in arts theses. This study has a descriptive feature in the screening model. The theses examined were analyzed by dividing them into sections such as year of publication, gender, type, university, institute, department, consultant, subject and method. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods (percentage, frequency, crosstab) and interpreted. As a result of all these data, it has been concluded that the most theses examined are master's degrees, the most theses are published at Gazi University, the most baglama performance and bağlama education topics are studied, and the most qualitative research methods are used.
Fine arts high schools are one of the formal educational institutions that have an important place in the development of art education in our country. Music education, which is a branch of art education, is carried out systematically in the music departments carried out with the regulations determined in the fine arts high schools. Many topics such as the physical condition in the music departments of fine arts high schools, equipment competencies, the nature of educational activities, the opinions of students and teachers on various issues have been the focus of attention of researchers. For this purpose, many scientific studies have been conducted by researchers on the music departments of fine arts high schools. The aim of this study is to evaluate the postgraduate studies conducted on the music department of fine arts high schools from various perspectives and to offer suggestions for the field in this direction. It is believed that the various findings obtained in this study are important for directing new research on the music departments of fine arts high schools, for the relevant researchers to determine which topics are given weight in this field or which areas are missing. It is a descriptive study in which the data are accessed with the research screening model and the obtained data and document analysis are performed. As a result of the study; NO thesis archive obtained from Fine Arts High School music department on most of postgraduate studies completed (%93,4) a maximum of completed graduate study at the graduate level in 2019 (%17,7) completes most (%21,5) Gazi University graduate study is carried out at the maximum (%68,0) Fine Arts Education Department of the work has been completed, the majority of graduate studies (%45,3) were studied under the heading of due diligence and evaluation of the results that have been achieved.
