Individuals in the most productive age group are most affected, which causes a great loss to financial and labor systems. It is important to take measures to alert the public regarding the severity of injuries likely to occur in motorcycle-related accidents and ways to prevent them.
Epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma was first described by Danath et al. in 1972 and is classified as a rare low-grade biphasic neoplasm of the salivary glands. This case report presents a male patient who had a lesion in the oral mucosa with a history of recurrence of the tumor. The outcome resulted in a profile consistent with an epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma with a high degree of transformation. The case highlights the importance of histopathological evaluation of oral lesions, which occasionally may not present typical clinical aspects of malignant lesion.

Cheilopalateplasty. A B S T R A C T _______________________________________________________________________The cleft lip and palate are serious biopsychosocial diseases that are between the 3rd or 4th most common birth defect. One baby in every 650 live births has the problem at some stage, so that in Brazil there are approximately 180,000 cleft. Clafts can occur on lip, palate and lip and palate complete or incompletely. The treatment of oral clefts must be multidisciplinary and aims to correct the defect and the associated problems. It must be initiated early in order to improve the prognosis. This paper presents two cases of oral clefts in pediatric patients, both unilateral, complete, congenital and presenting with strong aesthetic and functional damage. Both patients received internalized and full care, with great success in this treatment, challenging the prevailing need to travel to major centers to obtain full and enhanced service.
