Abstract. This study aims to explore and describe the concept of Syekh Umar Bin Ahmad Baradja's thoughts regarding moral education in the family contained in Lil Banin's Book of Morals. The position of morality is at a very important level. The ups and downs of a nation depend on its morals. Therefore, it is important to know how moral education should be instilled in children from childhood. This study uses a qualitative approach with the bibliographic coupling method while the type of research used is library research. The results of this study are that the concept of moral education for children is to instill noble behavior in the heart of the child and keep away from disgraceful behavior by: the first thing that must be instilled in children is the cultivation of monotheism. Instilling monotheism in children can be started from small things, for example by reading stories that contain the attributes of Allah, introducing procedures for worshiping Allah, getting used to living by involving Allah, also by telling about Allah's greatness. through His creation. Second, namely the introduction and habituation of worship, for example carrying out prayers, reading the Qur'an so that children are accustomed to worship in their big years and a good personality is formed. Third, the cultivation of morals starts from telling children the form of good morals. Fourth, morals in social form are in the form of good morals towards others, for example towards neighbors, friends, servants, and teachers. The method of moral education for children emphasizes habituation. Besides that, the dialogue method, the exemplary method, the story method, the advice method, and the parable method. Whereas in the implementation of moral education for children in the family, that is when children are able to apply the concept of moral education in everyday life. In conclusion, moral education in the family environment is highly recommended because it is the main educational environment known to children. The concept of moral education by Sheikh Umar Bin Ahmad Baradja is in accordance with the contents of the Qur'an and hadith so that readers of this research are expected to apply it in educating children to overcome the problem of moral and moral crises in modern times. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan mendeskripsikan konsep pemikiran Syekh Umar Bin Ahmad Baradja mengenai pendidikan akhlak dalam keluarga yang terdapat dalam Kitab Akhlak Lil Banin. Kedudukan akhlak berada pada tingkatan yang sangat penting. Jatuh bangunnya suatu bangsa bergantung pada akhlaknya. Maka dari itu, penting kiranya untuk mengetahui bagaimana pendidikan akhlak yang harus ditanamkan kepada anak sejak kecil. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode bibliographic coupling sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah library reseach. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa konsep pendidikan akhlak bagi anak yaitu menanamkan tingkah laku yang luhur di lubuk hati anak dan menjauhkan dari tingkah laku yang tercela dengan cara: pertama yang harus ditanamkan kepada anak yaitu penanaman tauhid. Penanaman tauhid terhadap anak dapat dimulai dari hal-hal kecil, misalnya dengan membacakan kisah-kisah yang berisikan tentang sifat-sifat Allah, mengenalkan tata cara ibadah kepada Allah, membiasakan hidup dengan melibatkan kepada Allah, juga bisa dengan memberi tahu tentang kebesaran-kebesaran Allah melalui ciptaanNya. Kedua, yakni pengenalan dan pembiasaan ibadah misalnya melaksanakan sholat, membaca Al-Qur’an agar anak terbiasa dalam beribadah di masa besarnya dan terbentuklah kepribadian yang baik. Ketiga, penanaman akhlak dimulai dari memberitahu kepada anak bentuk akhlak-akhlak yang baik. Keempat yaitu akhlak dalam sosial bentuknya berupa berakhlak baik terhadap orang lain misalnya terhadap tetangga, teman, pelayan, dan guru. Adapun metode pendidikan akhlak bagi anak menekankan pada pembiasaan. Selain itu metode dialog, metode keteladanan, metode kisah, metode nasihat, dan metode perumpamaan. Sedangkan dalam implementasi pendidikan akhlak anak dalam keluarga yakni ketika anak mampu mengaplikasikan konsep pendidikan akhlak dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulannya pendidikan akhlak dalam lingkungan keluarga sangat disarankan karena merupakan lingkungan utama pendidikan yang dikenal oleh anak. Konsep pendidikan akhlak Syekh Umar Bin Ahmad Baradja sesuai dengan isi Al-Qur’an dan hadits sehingga bagi para pembaca penelitian ini diharapkan untuk menerapkannya dalam mendidik anak untuk mengatasi problem krisis akhlak dan moral pada zaman modern ini.
