Environmental contamination is one of the significant problems of modern society. Heavy metal pollutants include zinc, arsenic, nickel, cadmium, copper, lead, chromium, manganese, and iron etc. Their universal bioavailability accumulation in the food chain causes severe effects on human health. The lives of living species will be preserved by unique heavy metal treatments to improve the air, soil, and water quality. This review article represents a glimpse of heavy metal contamination in several areas of Pakistan over the past few years, that assess the heavy metal especially the contamination in water (groundwater, surface water, and wastewater), soil, and particulate matter. The listed pollution affects the quality of drinking water, the ecological environment, and the food chain. The toxicity induced by contaminated water, soil, and air causes a genuine threat to human health. Moreover, the technologies to overcome this problem has also reported in it.
Energy is a basic need for human development but unfortunately, every country in the world has unequal energy reserves. The energy crisis is the most influential crisis for the World and especially Pakistan to affect the economic, social and environmental health of the society. The purpose of this study is to investigate the connection between the different energy sources for the cost, yield, and other parametres. Using very comprehensive and statistical data, this study shows that renewable energy from agricultural waste and nuclear energy may be the most welcomed source of energy, which is cheaper and enough for thousands of years. As a renewable source, bioenergy obtained from agricultural waste is environmentally friendly. The Environmental pollution by agricultural waste energy was found to be very lower than nuclear energy to meet the domestic as well as industrial-level energy production and consumption.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
