This research focused on describing communication pattern between mother and her young child in awe-awe doer family. The study held in Kalibaru Manis village in Banyuwangi regency, Indonesia, with descriptive qualitative methodology. There’re three mothers participated as informants, all of them are awe-awe doer and likely to bring their children when working on the street. The result shows that there are protective communication pattern in mother-young children relationship, with varied level of controlling behaviour and disciplinary techniques used in the family that depend on the importance of discipline and level of the mother’s confidence to assert discipline to the children. When awe-awe is not the main income of the family, the mother does not put much control on their children about it. Awe-awe then become unique opportunities for the children to decide for themselves.
Di SD Negeri 5 Wringinpitu terdapat beberapa siswa yang menunjukkan perilaku kurang disiplin di lingkungan kelas. Hal tersebut dibuktikan pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung siswa tidak mengumpulkan tugas tepat waktu, selalu menganggap tugas sebagai pekerjaan rumah, dan tidak mau mengerjakan tugas di kelas. Sehubungan dengan kondisi tersebut, peneliti berkeinginan untuk konsisten dalam menguji perilaku disiplin pada siswa kelas 1, salah satunya yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik token ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan token ekonomi terhadap tingkat kedisiplinan siswa. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian eksperimental dengan metode kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri 5 Wringinpitu, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 7 siswa (3 laki-laki dan 4 perempuan). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh penerapan teknik token ekonomi terhadap kedisiplinan siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri 5 Wringinpitu dibuktikan oleh adanya peningkatan hasil <em>pretest</em> dan <em>posttest</em>. Berdasarkan hasil uji <em>Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test</em>selanjutnya dibandingkan dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 maka hasil tersebut diketahui bahwasanya nilai signifikansi 0,05 sebesar 0,026, sehingga H<sub>a</sub> diterima dan H<sub>0</sub> ditolak. Dari hasil penelitian di SD Negeri 5 Wringinpitu maka saran yang dapat disampaikan pada guru kelas 1 yaitu guru seharusnya menerapkan teknik token ekonomi dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa karena pemberian token atau <em>reward</em> dibutuhkan guna meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa Sekolah Dasar.
This study aims to describe the teacher's efforts in instilling religious and moral values in children aged 4-5 years in group A TK Dharma Wanita Tegal Gede Jember. The subjects of this study were teachers and children aged 4-5 years who were in group A. The type of research used was descriptive qualitative research. Methods of collecting data with non-participatory observation methods on teachers and children, semi-structured interviews with teachers and documentation related to the religious and moral values of children at school. The results showed that efforts to instill religious and moral values in children aged 4-5 years in group A were carried out by the teacher every day. In the implementation of the planting, the teacher is carried out in accordance with the teacher's role, namely as a teacher, mentor, and as a role model. Efforts to inculcate religious and moral values also encountered obstacles so that the stimulation provided by the teacher was not optimal
