This study aims to develop a problem-based learning model with scientific literacy approach in elementary schools. The developed learning was expected to be used as a learning innovation to be able to improve the scientific literacy skills of elementary school students. The method used was development research or Research and Development. Research data includes analysis of learning difficulties and curriculum obtained through interviews and observations. Data from the assessment results, input, responses, criticisms, and suggestions for improvement of learning devices were obtained through assessment questionnaires by learning the material and learning media experts. The descriptive analysis was used to analyzed data. Research products that have been successfully developed by researchers were 1) problem-based learning models based on scientific literacy approach; 2) learning tools included the design of learning programs (Learning Plans), worksheets, and teaching materials. The final product of this study produced a teaching guide module for elementary school teachers.
The COVID-19 pandemic has not ended yet, so learning on campus is still adjusting to the online learning system. Medan State University is also still implementing online learning. This of course has an effect on all learning activities with the loss of the face-to-face process, one of which is the learning method. Elementary school teacher education (PGSD) students who take the Basic Concepts of Physics are a new course for developing the MBKM curriculum as a result of the recommendations for the 2020 HGPGSDI virtual meeting. This research offers an alternative by using various IT/ICT-based media to optimize SIPDA-based online learning by utilizing Canva-based e-modules. The Canva-based interactive e-Module will be structured to facilitate the SIPDA-based online learning process at Unimed. The development of learning modules uses the Research and Development (R & D) method which in this research will be carried out until the stage of perfecting the initial product. The scientific attitude and motivation of students after using the media-based module will be measured as an illustration of the effectiveness of using the module and the projection of subsequent IT/ICT media-based studies. This research will produce interactive e-modules and will be disseminated in the form of ISBN modules, indexed international proceeding articles, accredited national journals and have been registered as intellectual property rights (HaKI).Keywords: E-Modul, Canva , Research and Development Method Abstrak: Belum berakhirnya pandemi virus covid 19 membuat pembelajaran di kampus masih menyesuaikan dengan sistem pembelajaran daring. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of oil palm shell ash on the characteristics of asphalt and its mixtures. Palm shell is chosen as a filler material due to its content of silicon dioxide (SiO2) so that it is used as a suitable binder. This study consisted of several stages: (1) making modified bitumen; (2) testing modified bitumen with asphalt physical requirements method; (3) making and testing specimens; (4) Marshall testing. The results showed that the addition of oil palm shell ash resulted in increased asphalt stability values with the highest stability of 1553 kg from sample 4. Furthermore, the addition of oil palm shell ash resulted in increased asphalt flow values with the highest flow of 3,85 mm from sample 5. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it was concluded that there was an effect of the addition of oil palm shell ash on the characteristics of asphalt and its mixture.
