Banyak kejadian-kejadian yang tidak sesuai dengan aturan, nilai dan norma yang berlaku di dalam masyarakat. Permasalahan-permasalahan yang muncul di masyarakat semakin berkembang dan komplek. Pembelajaran IPS dibutuhkan untuk pembentukan individu peserta didik dalam menjalankan kehidupan sosial di masyarakat. Mereka diharapkan berperilaku dan berinteraksi sesuai dengan keadaan dan kondisi aturan, nilai dan norma yang ada di dalam masyarakat. Pembelajaran IPS di sekolah mempengaruhi pembentukan modal sosial dalam diri peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui konstribusi pembelajaran IPS terhadap perkembangan modal sosial peserta didik. Metode penelitian adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pembelajaran IPS terhadap modal sosial peserta didik SMPN di Kabupaten Pandeglang. Pengaruh pembelajaran IPS terhadap modal sosial peserta didik sebesar 16,4%. Dengan tingkat signifikansinya dilihat dari table lebih kecil dari 0,05 sehingga pembelajaran IPS signifikan terhadap modal sosial.
Individual dualism has become a symptom of a society in the 21st century, with all its excesses, including materialism and selfishness, which are present at all levels of society. 21st-century teachers have a different role from conventional teachers, where they act as facilitators, collaborators, mediators, and motivators in learning and teaching activities with effective and fun learning targets that require abilities that are influenced by knowledge, training, and experience. The era of disruption makes a form of play that leads to selfishness, including through gadgets, so there are limitations in interacting directly with peers. Therefore, the teacher strives to encourage sharing skills as a form of skill to students so that they can receive and give to others who are instilled in the early to late class so that it affects the ongoing interaction. This study used Slavin Theory, about efforts to increase social contact among students to achieve goals and the role of teachers in learning and teaching activities. Teachers have other obligations related to developing abilities and skills as professional teachers. Based on teacher competency standards, one of the professional competencies that needs to be possessed is writing scientific papers. However, there are still many teachers who do not understand writing classroom action research, causing them to lag behind in terms of writing scientific papers. The purpose of this community service is to increase teacher understanding, knowledge, abilities and skills in writing classroom action research. The method used is the service learning approach. The results obtained from this training were an increase in the participants' understanding, abilities and skills in writing classroom action research. Participants are able to write down and know problems in class, class action research theory, prepare classroom action research proposals, conduct research, compile research reports to publish scientific papers.
In early 2020, corona disease 2019 (Covid-19) appeared in Wuhan, December 2019 and rapidly spread to almost around the world so that it is determined by WHO as pandemic since it has attacked 114 countries including Indonesia. The growth of Covid 19 was confirmed to have experienced a high spike as of September 4, 2020. There were 26 million people exposed to the Covid 19 virus, so the Indonesian government needs to provide social assistance for people affected by Covid-19. Based on the latest Worldometers update at the beginning of 2021, namely on Friday, January 8, 2021, the SAR CoV-2 corona virus has infected a total of 88.368.538 people worldwide with a calculation of 63.454.087 people who have recovered from infection while a total of 1.904.030 people were declared dead. The Covid-19 data and information center said a total of 494 people were suspected of being exposed to Covid-19. Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari Batubara ensured that 120.000 Beneficiary Families of the Family Hope Program (KPM PKH) in Cirebon Regency would receive a certain amount of rice as social assistance. There are 15 kilograms of rice in three distributions to help the food needs of the Beneficiary Families. The distribution of social assistance to communities affected by Covid-19 caused conflicts in several areas in Cirebon Regency which caused social turmoil as a result of social changes in the Covid-19 era. This study tried to examine the social conflicts that arise in the process of distributing social assistance in Cirebon with Karl Marx's theory of Social Conflict which consists of vertical conflict and horizontal conflict. This study used qualitative research methods and a phenomenological approach in the Covid-19 era as a tool for the researcher to analyze this study.

Global, national and local conditions require Empowerment of local knowledge and wisdom for sustainable coastal management is an effort to strengthen social capital and is seen as a strategic value in pushing national priorities in developing coastal areas, especially in efforts to reduce disparities and environmental renewal, climate change and disaster resilience including post-pandemic disaster recovery covid 19. Ecosystem Approach for Fisheries Management (EAFM) is one of the social capital owned in an effort to maintain the sustainability of fisheries resources and fishermen community in Cirebon Regency. EAFM is a model for strengthening fishermen's social capital on a small scale as part of community efforts as a form of continued disaster management and climate change adaptation through community adaptation based on local wisdom as a starting point for sustainable development. This study uses Pierre Bourdieu's theory which refers to social capital as an actual and potential resource belonging to someone who comes from the institution's social network and takes place continuously in the form of collective recognition and support from other group members. Qualitative research with an ethnographic approach is carried out by researchers through studies of social interactions, behaviors and perceptions that arise in groups, organizational teams and fishing communities in Citemu Village, Mundu District, Cirebon Regency within a period of three months of the pandemic (March-June) by documenting the rules in social capital including the local community's trust system.
