In order to study the dynamic characteristics of the elevator, the response characteristics of the elevator under normal operation and emergency braking conditions are analyzed. In this paper, the centralized mass discretization model is used to study the vibration characteristics of the elevator traction system under the external excitation. Firstly, the vibration equation of the elevator multi-degrees-of-freedom (abbreviated as DOF) system is established. en, the vibration characteristics of the three DOF system are analyzed, and the natural frequencies and modes are obtained. e free vibration equation and forced vibration equation are obtained, and the theoretical solutions are obtained. Finally, the test method proposed in this paper is used to test the normal operation and emergency braking of the elevator. e test results show that, under normal operation conditions, the measured speed and distance errors are not more than 4.2%, the up running distance measured by the elevator is larger than the actual value, while the down running distance is smaller than the actual value; under emergency braking condition, because the steel wire rope can only bear the pulling force, the peak acceleration fluctuation in the up emergency braking process is large, while the down emergency braking acceleration fluctuation is small. erefore, the elevator vibration analysis model and the vibration test method proposed in this paper can be used for the analysis of elevator dynamic performance, which has great reference value for the safety performance research of the elevator traction system.
Based on the Drucker–Prager yield criterion, the theoretical solution of stratigraphic deformation in tunnel excavation process is deduced by the cavity expansion theory. In view of soil loosening around the tunnel caused by the tunnel excavation process, the internal friction angle of the surrounding soil is not a constant but a function of normal stress. The piecewise linearization of the nonlinear yield function is used to analyze the elastoplastic solution of the cylindrical hole shrinkage. A comparison is conducted with a plastic zone in which the internal friction angle of the soil remains unchanged. It can be concluded that the radial stress, the tangential stress, the radial strain, and the tangential strain around the inner wall calculated from the former are smaller.
An elevator traction system is simplified as a damped vibration system. In order to study the damping characteristics of an elevator traction system, this paper tests the vibration characteristics of a car frame on an in-service elevator with a traction ratio of 2:1. The results show that the natural frequency and stiffness of the system decrease with the increase of the elevator load; the attenuation coefficient and damping increase with the increase of the elevator load; Furthermore, the damping of the traction system is related to the initial running direction. Under the same load, the damping value of downward is greater than that of upward. This research establishes the relationship between vibration parameters, load and elevator running direction and provides an approach to solve the problem of quantitative measurement of damping in the process of elevator operation. Results from this study can provide reference for elevator vibration analysis.
A mechanical analysis model for the floating of buried pipelines in soil liquefaction areas is established in this paper. In order to improve the inherent defects of the elastic foundation beam method based on the Winkler model and increase the calculation accuracy, the Pasternak model is introduced and the interaction between soil and spring is considered. A mechanical analysis method for buried pipelines in liquefaction zone considering axial load is proposed in present paper. According to the Pasternak model and the deflection curve differential equation, the pipe bending deformation curve equation and the deformation coordination equation are derived. The analytical calculation method of the pipe mechanical response is established. A new method of the mechanical analysis of the floating of buried pipelines in the liquefaction zone is provided. The mechanical response of the pipeline under the conditions of different pipeline parameters and liquefaction zone length is analyzed. The reliability of the analysis method in this paper is verified by the comparison of finite element method (FEM). Considering that the previous researches of scholars mainly focused on straight pipes, there are few studies on the pipe structure nodes in liquefied soil. The mechanical properties of the three-way pipe structure in the soil liquefaction zone are analyzed by the finite element method (FEM). The influence of pipe diameter, wall thickness, liquefied soil density, transition zone length, buried depth, and pipeline internal pressure on the mechanical response of the pipeline is analyzed.
Solving ordinary thin plate bending problem in engineering, only a few analytical solutions with simple boundary shapes have been proposed. When using numerical methods (e.g. the variational method) to solve the problem, the trial functions can be found only it exhibits a simple boundary shape. The R-functions can be applied to solve the problem with complex boundary shapes. In the paper, the R-function theory is combined with the variational method to study the thin plate bending problem with the complex boundary shape. The paper employs the R-function theory to express the complex area as the implicit function, so it is easily to build the trial function of the complex shape thin plate, which satisfies with the complex boundary conditions. The variational principle and the R-function theory are introduced, and the variational equation of thin plate bending problem is derived. The feasibility and correctness of this method are verified by five numerical examples of rectangular, I-shaped, T-shaped, U-shaped, and L-shaped thin plates, and the results of this method are compared with that of other literatures and ANSYS finite element method (FEM). The results of the method show a good agreement with the calculation results of literatures and FEM.
