The health condition of each family member is one of the requirements for a quality family. This study aims to increase the knowledge and commitment of pregnant women about early detection of maternal and neonatal emergencies. The location of the activity was the Jagir Health Center working area, Surabaya with participants consisting of health cadres and pregnant women who were in the Jagir Surabaya Health Center Work Area. This activity was able to increase the knowledge of pregnant women by 80% about the knowledge of early detection of maternal neonatal emergencies; able to increase knowledge of health cadres by 90% about early detection of maternal neonatal emergencies. Cadre mothers were committed to assisting pregnant women until the postpartum period as well as monitoring the growth and development of toddlers. Pregnant women were committed to always consulting health workers, cadres either directly or through online media that have been established. Studi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan komitmen ibu hamil tentang deteksi dini kegawatdaruratan maternal dan neonatal. Lokasi kegiatan adalah wilayah kerja Puskesmas Jagir, Surabaya dengan peserta terdiri atas para kader kesehatan dan ibu hamil yang berada di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Jagir Surabaya. Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil sebesar 80% tentang pengetahuan deteksi dini kegawatdaruratan maternal neonatal; mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan kader kesehatan sebesar 90% tentang deteksi dini kegawatdaruratan maternal neonatal. Ibu kader berkomitmen untuk mendampingi ibu hamil sampai dengan masa nifas serta pemantauan tumbuh kembang balita. Ibu hamil berkomitmen untuk selalu berkonsultasi kepada petugas kesehatan, kader baik langsung maupun melalui media online yang sudah dibentuk. Keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif membutuhkan keterlibatan banyak orang terutama para kader. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan cakupan ASI Eksklusif. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini yaitu Kelompok Pendukung ASI di Puskesmas Pacarkeling, Kecamatan Tambaksari, Kota Surabaya. Hasil Pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan kader sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 71,44%. Ini berarti bahwa semua kader memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang materi khusus menyusui setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Nilai rata-rata eksekutif untuk sikap pemberian ASI eksklusif adalah 40% yang menunjukkan bahwa kader memiliki sikap yang baik terhadap dukungan pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Skor rata-rata 100% untuk teknik menyusui menunjukkan hampir semua pelaksanaan memiliki keterampilan yang baik sebagai KP-ASI. Kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan peran kader dalam peningkatan cakupan ASI Eksklusif sudah terlaksana dengan baik. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan kader tentang ASI ekslusif dan sikap kader yang mendukung ASI ekslusif meningkat serta meningkatnya keterampilan kader dalam melakukan teknik menyusui yang benar.

Previous experience gave rise to more detailed knowledge about the services and promoting expectations about nursing care for post partum and breastfeeding period. This study aimed to explore the experiences and expectations of psychosocial nursing care for mothers in the postpartum period in order to deal with breast milk has not come out in 0-3 days postnatal in Public Health Center of Tanah Kali Kedinding Surabaya. This qualitatif study used hermaneutic-phenomenological approach. Subjects were women with postpartum period was more of 3 days to 2 weeks after delivery. Samples were selected by purposive sampling technique. Data was processed using analysis of collaizi. Results are grouped into : the experience felt “physical and psychological complaints” when the milk has not come out, and expectation on psychosocial nursing care in order to deal with breast milk has not come out. Furthermore, it was concluded that psychosocial nursing care given when the milk has not come out, can become mother’s experiences in order to achieve sustainability of successful breastfeeding.
