Growth and development issues among children living in developing countries are considered as global health focus, especially stunting issue. The health problem in the community emerged after a study had been conducted in the area where community service took place. The study result reported that more than fourty percent of the babies aged 0-36 who took part in the study were having developmental problems. The screening was carried out with the use of KPSP instrument. To reduce this problem, the community service which aimed at enhancing maternal mental health literacy and improving knowledge on SDIDTK were implemented. The implementation method was education about maternal mental health and SDIDTK to 10 mothers who have baby age 0-5 years old at Posyandu Melati Citapen Village Bogor. To assess level of knowledge, pre and post-test questionnaire were distributed. The result showed that level of mother knowledge on child’s growth and development increased from 8.4 to 8.6, and knowledge on mental health rose from 8.7 to 9.3. It is expected that this community service could enhance maternal mental health literacy and SDIDTK knowldge thus mothers have high awareness to monitor their children’s growth and development through Posyandu/Puskesmas (community health center) in hope that the cases of stunting in Bogor Regency could be averted. Future similar community service should be able to reach wider community. Keywords: Child Growth And Development, Maternal, Mental Health
