Leadership in the organizational culture of pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) has characteristics following the pesantren culture and prevailing religious values. As the pesantren leader, Kiai leads in a charismatic style that is full of authority and responsibility. This study aims to review the leadership of the Kiai in the organizational culture of the pesantren. It was assessed by using a library research model. The results showed that the administration of the Kiai had a significant influence on the achievement of the goals of the pesantren. Leadership values are expected to be passed down from generation to generation to future leaders. The leadership of a Kiai and the culture of the Islamic boarding school are two things that influence each other. The Kiai's task as the pesantren leader is to form a personal commitment to the pesantren as an Islamic educational institution. A Kiai must maintain the culture or culture of the Islamic boarding school that has been preserved for centuries.
Along with the times, technology in its development certainly brings changes to life, especially in the world of education which will also continue to experience development. This article aims to determine the role of educational technology in improving the quality of education in this progressive era. So it is hoped that educational technologists will no longer feel doubtful and interested in adapting and being able to take advantage of technology with all its benefits in educational life. In writing this article we use a literature review method (library research), where researchers collect materials related to research from books, journals, scientific articles, literature and mass media coverage by describing and describing the data. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that educational technology was created to solve learning problems by facilitating and providing alternatives and new innovations in the world of education. That way educational technology can make it easier to achieve educational goals.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji secara empirik apakah ada hubungan antara lingkungan kerja fisik dengan kepuasan kerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Haji Medan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah perawat di RS Haji Medan yang berjumlah 30 orang dengan menggunakan <em>random sampling </em>di susun berdasarkan skala Likert. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah instrumen lingkungan kerja fisik yang terdiri dari 35 item dengan menujukkan koefisien reliabilitas 0,842 dan instrument kepuasan kerja yang terdiri dari 36 item dengan menujukkan koefisien reliabilitas 0,864. Analisis data ini menggunakan teknik <em>r Product Moment</em>. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan diterima, yaitu ada hubungan positif antara lingkungan kerja fisik dengan kepuasan kerja, artinya makin baik lingkungan kerja fisiknya maka semakin tinggi pula kepuasan kerjanya. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui perhitungan analisis <em>r Product Moment </em>dengan nilai atau koefisen (R<sub>xy</sub>) = 0.983 dan koefisien determinan (R<sup>2</sup>) = 0,967 menunjukan lingkungan kerja fisik dibentuk oleh kepuasan kerja sebesar 96,7%. Selanjutnya dilihat dari perhitungan mean hipotetik rata- rata 52,5 dan mean empiric rata – rata 104,93 serta standar deviasi = 9,95 diketahui bahwa lingkungan kerja fisik yang baik. Sedangkan kepuasan kerja perawat dari hitungan mean hipotetik rata - rata 67,5 dan mean empiric rata - rata 106,96 serta standar deviasi = 10,72 diketahui bahwa kepuasan kerja perawat dalam kategori tinggi
The Meaning and Function of Practical Community Interest Paser DistrictLong Acts Paser. This study uses a descriptive method, a qualitative form with anethnographic approach to communication. The purpose of ethnographiccommunication in this research is to study or study language in relation to thecustoms or habits of a society. The data source is pamali text which researchersgathered from six informants. While research data are words, phrases or sentencesin pamali that show meaning and function. The techniques used are participantobservation, in-depth interviews, and records. Data analysis is done bytranscribing data, selecting data, identifying data, classifying data, andconcluding data to determine the meaning and function of the guardian. Based onthe results of the analysis it can be concluded that pamali in the Paser communityhas the deepest (implied) meaning. The meaning contained in the Pamali societyis teaching the values of education and norms that exist in the community by wayof rebuking, advising and reminding to behave in accordance with the norms andforms of moral preservation, attitude and behavior. In this research, the functionof pamali is adjusted to the purpose of someone conveying pamali. The pamalifunction, namely (1) functions to educate in the form of morals, behavior,compassion, respect for fellow creatures created by God, maintain solidarity,strengthen the faith, and avoid feeling lazy, (2) functions as a form of selfprotectionin the form of safety, protecting women pregnant and children.Key words: pamali, Paser tribe, meaning, function, sociolinguistics AbstrakMakna dan Fungsi Pamali Masyarakat SukuPaser Kecamatan Long IkisKabupaten Paser. Tujuan etnografi komunikasi dalampenelitian ini ialah mengkaji atau mempelajari bahasa dalam hubungan denganadat-istiadat atau kebiasaan suatu masyarakat. Sumber data adalah teks pamaliyang peneliti himpun dari enam informan. Sedangkan data penelitian ialah katakata,frasa atau kalimat dalam pamali yang menunjukan makna dan fungsi. Teknikyang digunakan adalah observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan rekam.Analisis data dilakukan dengan mentraskripsi data, seleksi data, identifikasi data,pengklasifikasi data, dan menyimpulkan data untuk mengetahui makna dan fungsipamali. Berdasarkan hasil analisi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pamali dalammasyarakat Paser memiliki makna terdalam (tersirat). Adapun makna terdapatdalam pamali masyarakat Paser adalah mengajarkan nilai-nilai pendidikan dannorma-norma yang ada di masyarakat dengan cara menegur, menasehati danmengingatkan agar bersikap sesuai dengan norma-norma dan bentuk penjagaanmoral, bersikap dan berprilaku. Dalam penelitian ini fungsi pamali disesuaikandengan tujuan seseorang menyampaikan pamali. Adapun fungsi pamali, yaitu (1)berfungsi mendidik berupa moral, perilaku, rasa kasih sayang, menghargaisesama makhluk ciptaan Tuhan, menjaga solidaritas, penebal keimanan, danmenghindari rasa malas, (2) berfungsi sebagai bentuk perlindungan diri berupamenjaga keselamatan, melindungi perempuan hamil dan anak-anak.Kata-kata kunci:pamali,suku Paser, makna, fungsi, sosiolinguistik
This research aims to examine the effects of Effort-Reward Imbalance on work engagement among women engineers in Malaysia. In this study we review the Effort-Reward Imbalance (ERI) model as the psychosocial work environment that consisted of three distinct dimensions, namely effort, reward and over-commitment. In this study, a total of 300 questionnaires were distributed to women engineers, but only 250 questionnaires have been completed by the respondents. The data were analyzed using correlation and multiple regression through SPSS version 22. The findings showed that all the three dimensions of ERI model (i.e. effort, rewards, and over commitment) are related to work engagement among women engineers. This study indicated that reward is the most dominant influence work engagement among women engineers. This paper discusses the implication of this study in the context of literature and suggests strategies to improve workplace engagement.
