This study examines digital financial inclusion and uses Fintech for informal micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to overcome the financing gap. The researchers used primarily qualitative methods, namely a qualitative analysis strategy verification through inductive analysis. The results show that Indonesia's fintech landscape makes MSME a driver of the digital economy so that they can overcome the financing gap in the informal sector. The challenges faced by Fintech in encouraging MSME business efficiency in the form of unbalanced agency distribution, data security, data access problems, low digital financial literacy, low connectivity, and interoperability can be overcome by taking advantage of existing opportunities. These opportunities include the role of MFIs and cooperatives in promoting financial inclusion and the development of telecommunications infrastructure networks in Indonesia. The novelty of this research is the comprehensive evaluation of achieved progress in digital financial inclusion for MSMEs in Indonesia and the developed recommendation for regulations by relevant authorities to encourage the business efficiency of MSMEs through facilitating digital financial inclusion.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the sunk cost argument on the auction price of the frequency spectrum by measuring the efficiency of the frequency license fee paid by the auction winner. The efficiency method employs a nonparametric approach, namely Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with the Linear Programming method, with the hypothesis model tested using Path Analysis. The dataset under consideration was Indonesia's Big Three Service Providers (2015-2020). The results show that the spectrum auction price is efficient in its impact on service prices, revenues, and income taxes. The spectrum auction price has no effect, lending credence to the argument that the spectrum auction price is considered a sunk cost in the telecommunications industry. The research reason is that the higher the auction price, combined with the lower cost of service due to high competition, the harder it is for small businesses to win the auction. The winning bidder will remain under the control of the prominent organizers, so the government issues a merger policy for small businesses to compete in spectrum auction bids.
The goal of this study was to examine the level of efficiency of fixed broadband service providers as a measure of the research model's input as influenced by internal and external factors. Non-parametric approaches, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models, and Path Analysis were used in this study to assess the efficiency of Fixed Broadband Service Providers. The reason for the study is that the ability to generate income to obtain maximum profit in order to be in a strategic position for business competitiveness is a key component to consider for the Fixed Broadband Service Provider industry in order to ensure business continuity. The research findings indicate that the input variable has an impact on the output variable. For the 2015 – 2020 period, the input size in the form of Total Assets has an impact on the Cost Flow Investing Act, total subscribers, and fiber optic backbone network, all of which affect the efficiency of Fixed Broadband Service Providers as many as 5 (five) Big Providers (The Big Five). External factors such as Customer Price Index (CPI) and Interest Rates, on the other hand, have a favorable impact on Operator Efficiency.
