PurposeThis research examines the growth of intellectual assets in Islamic banking (IB) in Indonesia and intellectual capital (IC) growth to predict Islamic commercial banks' (ICBs) current and future profitability.Design/methodology/approachThis research is a quantitative descriptive research, a study that emphasizes theory testing by measuring research variables with numbers that aim to test the hypothesis. The object of this research is sharia banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2014–2019. This study takes IB companies as an object because IB has its types of relatively different transactions from conventional banking or commercial banks.FindingsThe results show that the rate of growth of IC (ROGIC) for ICBs in Indonesia can predict the current year's financial performance but has not been able to predict the profitability of the future year.Originality/valueThis study examines the predictive value rate of IC return in predicting current and next three years’ earnings, which previous researchers have never done.
Pandemi virus corona dengan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) di sejumlah wilayah telah memaksa masyarakat beradaptasi dengan cepat, termasuk dalam bekerja. Konsep Flexible Work Space (FWS) kini banyak dipakai untuk menjaga produktivitas optimal di tengah berbagai pembatasan. FWS erat kaitannya dengan bonus demografi, generasi milenial, dan generasi Z di sisi suplai, dan industrial 4.0 di sisi demand pasar tenaga kerja. Milenial dan Gen-Z dalam beberapa literatur teoritis dan empiris dikenal sebagai generasi yang digital natives, pengguna teknologi , yang lebih tinggi team-oriented. Pandemi Covid-19 menjadikan wacana flexible working space yang sebelumnya sudah banyak dibicarakan, perlu ditindaklanjuti lebih serius oleh pemerintah dan juga para pelaku usaha.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi dukungan organisasi, efikasi diri, lingkungan kerja dan spiritualitas di tempat kerja terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif pada Pegawai UPTD Puskesmas Gombong II. Variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu persepsi dukungan organisasi, efikasi diri, lingkungan kerja dan spiritualitas di tempat kerja sebagai variabel bebas dan perilaku kerja inovatif sebagai variabel terikat. Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu pegawai UPTD Puskesmas Gombong II yang berjumlah 39 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh sehingga jumlah seluruh populasi digunakan untuk di jadikan sampel. Instrument atau alat pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan kuesioner. Alat analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu analisis regresi linear berganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari uji instrument validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis dan analisis regresi linear berganda (skala likert). Alat bantu pengelolaan data menggunakan program SPPS 23.0 for windows 10. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dukungan organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif pada Pegawai UPTD Puskesmas Gombong II. Efikasi diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Spiritualitas di tempat kerja tidak berpengaruh perilaku kerja inovatif. Persepsi dukungan organisasi, efikasi diri, lingkungan kerja, spiritulitas di tempat kerja berpengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif.
This research is a case study belonging to the historical research. The data were taken from the Department of Natural Product Buying and Financial and Controlling XYZ CORP. XYZ CORP is a manufacturing enterprise and exporter of clove oil and its derivatives to the world with a market share of about 55% of the world market. This study aims to empirically examine and study the ethical behavior of suppliers in the ever-changing business environment. The analysis tool used is the Mann Whitney test with SPSS 17.0 software. Based on the survey results it was revealed that for natural raw materials, the average purchase price between the rainy season and the dry season does not differ significantly, but the cost of purchase in the dry season, and the rainy season varies significantly. In this study, the price does not affect the acquisition of raw materials purchased from suppliers. The results of this study also obtained empirical evidence that the trading patterns of natural raw materials are strongly influenced by the behavior or ethics of suppliers, in addition to weather factors or uncertain climate.
