The mastering of English skill has been faced some obstacles for the first students of MA. Mitahul Qulub because some factors, such as: students did not get good guidance to develop their ability, textbook material is not appropriate of students need in the specific institution. Based on the situation, this study aims to develop supplementary English guide book to the student, it includes two English skills both Reading and writing that will be related to the students need and use scientific approach to make a good English book composition. The researcher developed the materials by using some procedures of development that consisted of some steps of need analysis, material development, expert validation, revision, try-out, revision II, final product that used questionnaire and interview to collect data. Based on the result of expert validation and try out of materials, it can be concluded that the result of development English guide book is appropriate with the students need and objectives of English guide program itself, exactly the level of students’ difficulties, interest, and standards for the first grade. The experts’ hopes, the book can give a advantages and contribution as supplementary English guide book for the students to develop their English reading and writing skills. The English guide book development consisted of five chapters that provided the materials both reading and writing skills.
Collaborative learning means instructional arrangement involves two or more learners working together on a share learning goals. Learners are encouraged to ask question, give elaborated explanations, exchange arguments, formulated new ideas and problem solution during teaching and learning activities. The aim of this study was to know the significant comparation on learner’s EFL mastery by implementing collaborative method at classroom teaching learning. The research has been analyzed forward experimental research design; The purposes were formulated; to examined the impact of Collaborative Learning on Learner’s EFL Mastery by conducting a quasi-experimental method; it qualitatively investigated learners’ perceptions of Collaborative Learning. The data exhibited that Collaborative learning had significant impact on leaner’s EFL mastery. Subsequently, the data result of independent sample t-test, there was significant difference in post-test result between experimental class and control class (p=0.000≤0.05), actually post-test of the experimental class means (M=10.81) and post-test of the control class means (M=8.45). Collaborative Learning led learners to accept differences and to make those differences comparative sources in order to be more knowledgeable as well as wiser while dealing with a problem at reading material of EFL learning during the class activities. . The result of study depicts that collaborative learning is contributive to learners’ emotional awareness, learning motivation, cognitive development, and broad-mindedness.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks Exposisi siswa kelas X MA Al-Huda Sumber Nangka Duko Timur Pamekasan, (2) mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis teks exposisi berbasil system pembelajaran blended learning . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian kuantitatif yaitu berupa analisis nilai dari hasil tes menulis teks exposisi. Penelitian kualitatif berupa analisis data dari hasil nontes melalui observasi, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil tes menulis teks eksposisi dengan menggunakan system pembelajaran blended learning diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa kelas X MA Al Huda mengalami peningkatan, hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian pada prasiklus siswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata kelas 41,07. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas siswa meningkat menjadi 63,75. Dari prasiklus kesiklus I nilai siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan selisih nilai 22,68. Pada pembelajaran siklus II siswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 67,70 dan pada siklus III nilai rata-rata kelas siswa meningkat menjadi 80. Dari pembelajaran siklus I ke siklus II meningkat dengan selisih nilai 3,95 sedangkan antara siklus II kesiklus III meningkat dengan selisih nilai 12,03. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa hasil menulis paragraph persuasif siswa mengalami peningkatan dari prasiklus, siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III dengan kategori baik.
Abstrak: Pondok pesantren dituntut untuk lebih meningkatkan kualitasnya dibidang keagamaan, intelektual, dan life skill yang mumpuni, sehinggga eksistensi pondok pesantren tetap kokoh. Hal ini disebabkan tidak semua lulusan pondok pesantren akan menjadi Ulama atau Kiai, dan memilih lapangan pekerjaan dibidang agama, maka keahlian-keahlian lif skill perlu diberikan kepada santri sebelum terjun ketengah-tengah masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan islam berbasis life skill di pondok pesantren As-Syahidul Kabir Sumber Batu Blumbungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan tekhnik pengumpulan data yaitu survey lapangan, observasi, dan wawancara,. Sistem pendidikan Islam berbasis lifeskill di Pondok Pesantren As-Syahidul Kabir diimplementasikan dalam porsi tersendiri, yaitu tidak tersusun dalam satuan kurikulum pada jenjang pendidikan yang diterapkan di pondok pesantren. Pendidikan Islam berbasis lifeskill diterapkan dalam bentuk kegiatan-kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang tidak semua santri diwajibkan untuk mengikutinya, namun tergantung pada kesadaran dari masing-masing santri. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, Life Skill Abstract: Pesantren are demanded to further improve their quality, the religious, intellectual fields, furthemore; life skills’s qualified, so that the existence of boarding schools remains strong. This is because not all graduates of Islamic boarding schools will become piosman that are part of life skills need to be given to students before plunging into the midst of the actual community. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of life skill-based Islamic education in As-Syahidul Kabir’s Islamic Boarding School. This is a qualitative research desing that analyzed by using descriptive, and the data collection’s techniques of this research are survey, observations, and interviews. In the As-Syahidul Kabir’s boarding school, , life skill-based Islamic education is implemented in a separate portion, which is not arranged in curriculum units at the level of education applied in boarding schools. Life skill-based Islamic education is implemented in the form of extracurricular activities where not all students are required to participate, but it depends on their’s awareness.
