Earthquakes are a disaster that is difficult to predict. This is why every time an earthquake occurs it always causes huge losses, not only loss of property but up to the loss of life. Strengthening preparedness in dealing with earthquake disasters is absolutely necessary in order to build community resilience in responding to earthquakes to minimize the potential for a larger impact. Improving earthquake disaster preparedness for the people of Bukit Duri Village aims to increase the community's ability to deal with earthquake disasters. The method used is through direct socialization related to preparedness actions before the disaster, during the disaster, and after the earthquake. The results of the implementation show that participants can understand well the characteristics of earthquake disasters, risk factors in the living environment, and actions needed before, during, and after an earthquake. This is evidenced by the evaluation results in the form of pre-test and post-test which showed an increase in participants' knowledge related to earthquake disaster preparedness which increased by 36.4%. During the pre-test, the total score was 58.8% and during the post-test, the total score was 93.2% Keywords: disaster; earthquake; preparedness Abstrak: Gempa bumi merupakan bencana yang sulit untuk diprediksi kejadiannya, hal ini yang menyebabkan setiap kali kejadian gempa bumi senantiasa menimbulkan kerugian yang besar bukan hanya kerugian harta benda namun sampai dengan korban jiwa. Penguatan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi mutlak diperlukan dalam rangka mengbangunan ketahanan masyarakat dalam merespon gempa bumi untuk meminimumkan potensi dampak yang lebih besar. Peningkatan kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa bumi bagi masyarakat Kelurahan Bukit Duri bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi. Metode yang digunakan adalah melalui sosialisasi secara langsung terkait tindakan kesiapsiagaan saat sebelum bencana, saat bencana dan setelah bencana gempa bumi. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat memahami dengan baik karakteristik bencana gempa bumi, factor-faktor yang berisiko pada lingkungan tempat tinggal, tindakan yang diperlukan sebelum, saat terjadi dan setelah gempa bumi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil evaluai berupa pre test dan post test yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terkait kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa bumi yang mengalami peningkatan sebesar 36,4 %. Environmental problems are an important factor in life. One of the efforts to maintain the function of groundwater so that it is well preserved can be done by reforesting it and creating a household catchment area. One of them is by making infiltration holes to serve as temporary storage for rainwater and to maintain soil moisture during the dry season so as to prevent drought as well as during the rainy season to minimize flooding. The purpose of this training activity is to use land as a biopore water absorption system. While the purpose of this activity is to carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the form of Community Service. The results of the research that has been conducted by 8 members who will provide a way to make infiltration holes at SMPN 1 Setu and this service is carried out well.
District Babelan has many minimarkets in the form of Alfamart and Indomaret. Minimarket in District Babelan amounted to 43 minimarket. Minimarkets are scattered in several villages in Babelan sub-district, namely Bahagia village, Kebalen village, Babelan Kota village, Kedung Pengawas village, Kedung Jaya village and Muarabakti village. The purpose of this study is to see the development of Alfamart and Indomaret, knowing the pattern of distribution as well as potential location of minimarket establishment. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis with survey approach. Methods of data analysis using stop-point analysis. Data collection using observation techniques by taking data on location and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the development of Alfamart and Indomaret in the District of Babelan experienced rapid development from 2013-2017. In 2013 in Babelan sub-district there are only 12 minimarkets and by 2017 it has increased to 43 minimarkets, which indicates that minimarket developments in Babelan Sub-district have progressed over time. Next, the pattern of distribution Alfamart and Indomaret in District Babelan has a pattern of clumping. Other than that, the determination of potential location of minimarket establishment is needed to know where the potential position to establish minimarket. The potential distance of minimarket between villages in Babelan sub-district is not much different. The average potential distance of minimarket between villages is 1,4 km. Kegiatan manusia merupakan penyebab utama pemanasan global (dalam Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), 2007). Hasil diskusi mengintisarikan bahwa kenaikan suhu bumi tidak boleh melampaui 20C pada tahun 2025, untuk membatasi akibat buruknya bagi hidup manusia. Iklim yang semakin panas akan mempengaruhi ketersediaan air serta meningkatkan intensitas kondisi cuaca ekstrim seperti badai dan kekeringan. Banyak petani di Indonesia sudah merasakan hal ini dalam kesulitan mereka untuk memperkirakan waktu tanam dengan musim yang semakin tidak menentu (DNPI dalam buku NRDC, 2013). Estimasi besaran biomasa yang dihitung (Y), adalah besaran nilai simpanan karbon yang hilang, karena adanya perubahan tutupan vegetasi terestrial dalam bentuk (a) luasan (ha), dan (b) besaran biomas (ton/ha). Perubahan tutupan vegetasi ditelusuri dari Citra Lansat Band 54TM yang bersumber dari Lapan tahun 2005 dan tahun 2016. Perubahan tutupan lahan dalam hal ini diasumsikan sebagai perubahan terhadap tutupan vegetasi. Perubahan (delta) luasan dan tutupan vegetasinya, sebagai dasar perhitungan selanjutnya. Perubahan terbesar adalah berkurangnya areal sawah sebesar 4008,805 ha atau 15,62% dari luas sawah sebelumnya. Hasil dari konversi lahan ini mengakibatkan luasan areal ruang terbangun antara tahun 2005-2016 meningkat total seluas 3089,694 ha menjadi 20.006,481 ha. Selama tahun 2005 sampai 2016 terdapat kecenderungan yang terus menurun terhadap cadangan karbon sebesar 3.364,83 ton carbon atau 2.348,94 ton C02eq. Hal ini berarti secara keseluruhan perubahan tutupan lahan di Kabupaten Banyumas menyumbangkan emisi karbon setiap tahunnya sebesar 0,08085 ton/ha/tahun.
