untuk mengakhiri komunikasi terdapat pada 59 WA dan 12 WA tidak menuliskan ucapan terima kasih. Artinya sebagian besar WA diakhiri dengan santun. Dengan merujuk kepada pada tabel 2 yaitu "Instrumen Kategori Kesantuan Bahasa WA", dari tabel 2 tersebut diketahui bahwa 17 WA termasuk kategori sangat santun, 49 WA termasuk kategori santun, 5 WA termasuk kategori kurang santun, dan tidak ada WA yang masuk kategori tidak santun. Berikut ini contohcontoh WA pada masing-masing kategori. Contoh WA yang sangat santun, artinya pada WA tersebut tertulis 6 s.d. 7 etiket kasantunan. Gambar 4. Contoh WA dari Mahasiswa 1 Gambar 5. The topics and sub-topics of teaching materials in “Proposal and Tata Tulis Laporan” courses in Building Design Engineering Study Program have not been developed based on the students’ need analysis, whereas teaching materials are essential components in a learning process. For this reason, this study was conducted to describe learning outcomes which are relevant to the courses and to map the students’ needs of the topics and sub-topics of “Proposal and Tata Laporan” courses. In this study, a descriptive method was used with the 2016 Curriculum document as a data source and 32 students as participants. The results of this study are six learning outcomes which are relevant to the “Proposal dan Tata Tulis Laporan” courses and seven topics needed by the students; Proposal, Penulisan Laporan Ilmiah, konvensi Naskah, Plagiarisme dan Pengutipan, Peristilahan ilmiah, Kalimat Ilmiah, serta Presentasi Ilmiah. This study concludes that these topics and sub-topics needed by the students are relevant to the six learning outcomes so that those topics and sub-topics can be used as teaching materials.
The study of grammar in Bangka Malay is still limited. The discussion about the phatic category in the speech of Bangka Malay Language will be one of the important discourses in Bangka Malay language. In the speech of Bangka Malay language, the phatic category is often found. This study will explain the role of the phatic category as an affirmation and confirmation in the speech of Bangka Malay language. The theory of the phatic category from Kridalaksana will be the basis of the study with the equivalent method as a foundation in the review process. Research data is collected from live conversations and conversations of community group of Bangka people in WhatsApp. From the conversation data, the commonly used forms of Fatis, ge, be, and kek will be explored their meaning and function. Those meaning and function are determined by pairing and aligning it with the Fatis form in Indonesian. Thus, it will be known what the meaning and function of phatic language is Malay Bangka. From the research it appears that the use of phatic category in Bangka Malay language serves as a speech affirmation and confirmation so that the presence of this element in speech is necessary.The results of this study will be the basis for the next reseach about how the characteristics and patterns of Fatis forms can determine meaning based on the Fatis forms position.
Changes in patterns, requirements, and competition for industrial workers have caused language lectures, both Indonesian and English courses, to be encouraged to prepare graduates from polytechnic non-engineering majors to have language competencies that are in line with industry needs. For this reason, a research was conducted on "Language Competence of Graduates of the Polytechnic Non-Engineering Department Needed by the Business World and the Industrial World" which can be used as a reference for syllabus formulation and study material for language lectures. This study aims to describe the language competencies needed by the business world and the industrial world. To achieve this goal, the descriptive method is used with the data sources of this research consisting of resource persons, namely non-engineering alumni as well as the business and industrial world as well as curriculum documents of the Bandung State Polytechnic Department of Non-engineering, documents regarding KKNI, industrial competency references and language competencies. From this research, it is known that the language competencies needed by the industrial world are 1) writing competence for office administration activities: correspondence, making reports, designing activities/proposals, making agendas and meeting minutes, developing own ideas or other people's ideas; 2) speaking competence for presentations, telephone calls, communicating with relations, negotiating, and promoting; 3) the competence to read accurately, quickly and fluently to manage information, SOPs & work instructions, company rules / regulations, process data accurately, and 4) listening competence to communicate and negotiate. These competencies are in accordance with the qualifications of the KKNI level 5 and 6 which must be possessed by polytechnic D3 and D4 graduates.
Kurangnya peran serta warga atau masyarakat RW 02 Ciwaruga, Kabupaten Bandung Barat dalam pengelolaan sampah walaupun telah memiliki Bank Sampah Cempaka 2, yang dibentuk sejak tahun 2016. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan waktu kegiatan Bank Sampah dengan langkah-langkah melakukan kunjungan dan diskusi dengan kader penggiat bank sampah, memotret dan mensosialisasikan tingkat keberhasilan bank sampah dilihat dari manfaat secara sosial dan ekonomi, serta merumuskan penyuluhan dan mempersiapkan berbagai media sosialisasi. Perilaku memilah sampah berpotensi untuk ditumbuhkan sebagai gerakan massal dan adanya Bank Sampah, secara ekonomi, sangat membantu dalam menciptakan pekerjaan dan menambah penghasilan masyarakat RW 02 Ciwaruga.
