Abstrack: The objective of the research is to know the correlation between mother’s knowledge about the treatment of LBW and baby’s weight gain at RSUD Wates in 2016. This research is a correlative-descriptive research using cross sectional time approach. The population of this research was mothers who have LBW, and 59 respondents were selected using quota sampling. This research uses questionnaire to get the data and chi-square for analysis test. Test the validity of using Product Moment correlation and Cronbach Alpha reliability test with. The research result is mother’s knowledge in gaining weight to Low Birth Weight. Therefore, it is hoped that mother whose baby is LBW can enrich knowledge especially is managing correct breastfeeding.
The lactational amenorrhea method (LAM) is a natural contraceptive that is highly effective after the three essential criteria are fulfilled. However, there is a significantly low adoption resulting from poor knowledge and correct practices. This study aimed to determine the correlation between knowledge and behavior of breastfeeding mothers on breastfeeding as a natural contraceptive. This was an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design involving 89 breastfeeding mothers and was performed from January to March 2018. Furthermore, data were collected using a questionnaire, and the results showed knowledge of breastfeeding mothers to be good (59.6%) and not good (51.7%). However, the individual’s behavior towards the implementation of LAM was not good (48.3%) and good (40.4%). Based on the statistical test, there was a correlation between knowledge and behavior of breastfeeding mothers, with a p-value of 0.006 (OR = 3.463; 95% CI = 1.411 – 8.498). In brief, knowledge of LAM amongst the participants is good, despite the poor application in terms of behavior. Also, a relationship was also established between the knowledge and behavior of breastfeeding mothers as a natural contraceptive.
Background: children’s health and nutrition are an important investment that could save children’s life, improve children’s educational result and economic productivity. Health education in community through audiovisual media web based could effectively improve parents’ knowledge about the monitoring of toddlers’ growth and development. Aim: to explore the effect of nutritional education through video towards the improvement of knowledge, attitude and behavior of toddlers feeding. Method: the method used is scoping review by using checklist PRISM-ScR, while it has 22 items of assessment and 20 items of important report and 2 items of optional that identify the question of scoping review by using framework PICO, selecting the relevant article based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria by utilizing databases such as ProQuest, PubMed, Willey Online Library, and Google Scholar to conduct the literature searching,,,
Background: The emergence of the pandemic COVID-19 rises a negative effect that can be danger for mental health generally, mainly for pregnant women and postpartum, although various evidence shows the increasing of mental problem which are various but significant among general population and susceptible group. Antenatal depression is one of types of anxiety in pregnant women that have a negative effect for mother’s and foetus’ health and believed that some of postpartum depression is started during pregnancy. Aim: explore the experience of midwife in delivering midwifery care of mental illness of pregnant women and postpartum during the pandemic Covid-19. Method: Scoping Review having aim to identify knowledge gap, determine the research schedule, identify implication to make decision and exploration broadly through available evidence by mapping the concept that bases the research, source of evidence and types of evidence that is available. Framework is conducted by identifying the research question through PICO and identifying the relevant study through Scopus, Willey, Science Direct and PubMed. Study article selection used Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses for Scoping Review (PRISMA-ScR). Result: a good qualitative study is a study that has good quality and indexed Scopus.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
