This study aims to analyse students' error in solving mathematics word problems based on The PISA frameworks. This is a qualitative descriptive study involving 63 students with low, moderate, and high level of mathematics achievement from 2 schools in Surakarta. The data collection was conducted using test, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted in three stages namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results indicate that based on the content, most students gave incorrect answers on the shape and space category; based on the context, most students gave incorrect answers on the occupational category; and based on the process, most students gave incorrect answers on the interpreting category. The possible factors caused of this problems are the mathematics textbooks which still lack of PISA-like problems, the teaching practices which still put mathematics as an exact and abstract subject, and the students did not familiar in solving problems which need reasoning and creativity.
Instagram is one of the social media that has the concept of visual interaction. Various photo and video content on Instagram sometimes triggers and influences people to form a different self-image to their lives in the real world. The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of Instagram use on student self-image. The independent variable is Instagram Usage, and the dependent variable is Self-image. This research uses quantitative methods, with data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies. The data analysis method uses a validity and reliability test, product-moment, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, hypothesis test, and simple linear regression test. Data processing using SPSS program version 25.00. The number of respondents was 93 people out of 1230 Communication Management students of the STIAMI Institute. Sampling technique using simple random sampling with Slovin formula. Based on Dramaturgy Theory about self-image, the results also showed in the T-test hypothesis was accepted, and the product-moment correlation test stated there is a significant positive relationship between Instagram use and self-image. The confines determination test results showed that Instagram's effect on self-image has a fairly high percentage. R Square value is 0.638 or 63.8%. With a high percentage value, Instagram users, especially students, should be smarter and wiser to use Instagram. With a positive motive of use, it will not cause a bad self-image of a person.
This study was conducted to determine the effect of Work Environment Against Physical and Non-Physical Work Motivation in Elementary School East Sinduadi, Sleman. The type of this research is the nature regresional aimed to see the effect of variable Work Environment Against Physical and Non-Physical Work Motivation variables. As the study variables consist of Work Environment and Physical and Non-Physical Work Motivation variable data were collected using questionnaires and sampling are as many as 25 respondents. accindental sampling. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression. The results using multiple linear regression analysis showed that the results of the multiple linear regression, namely: Y = 2.510 to 0.142 X1 + 0.589 X2 Physical working conditions do not affect the level of motivation of employees working at East Elementary School Sinduadi Sleman value because the test statistic is not significant (0.502 more than 5%). With a negative coefficient (-0.512). Non-physical work environment affects the motivation level of employees working in Sleman East Sinduadi Elementary School because the value of the test statistic showed significant results (0.045 below 5%). Positive coefficient (0.589). Environmental conditions of physical and non-physical work jointly influence the motivation level of employees working at East Elementary School Sinduadi Sleman. It is seen from the value of the test statistic (F) is significant (0.041). With a constant value of 3.615 and a significant level of 5%. Islam and radicalism are two very different things. It is then unjustified to emerge the term "Islamic radicalism" since it will reduce all the teachings of Islam itself. This is also because every religion has never taught its followers to act radically, but it doctrinally teaches kindness and peace. Therefore, the emergence of radicalism on behalf of religion (Islam) needs to be explored in detail to deliver a comprehensive and balanced enlightenment. This paper seeks to review and provide an analysis based on social learning theory related to radicalism actor who has a particular community. This community undoubtedly becomes the source of forming a radical under-standing of Islam as well. Of the social learning theory, it is found that one of several causes of it is an improper learning process form in which the community provides a model of action or an incorrect understanding about the meaning of jihad in Islam.Keywords: Islam, radicalism, causes of radicalism, social learning theory, improper learning process
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui karakteristik hasil Cut Score UN di SD tahun 2009 berdasarkan pengembangan implementasi metode Nedelsky, Ebel, Bookmark dan hasil modifikasi metode Ebel-Bookmark; eyakinan panelis terhadap implementasi metode Standard Setting untuk menetapkan Cut Score; dan akurasi implementasi berdasarkan standar deviasi masing-masing metode. Sampel meliputi 10 orang panelis pada putaran 1, 16 guru pada putaran 2, 8 pakar dan 1650 hasil pekerjaan siswa. Prosedur dan análisis data mengikuti langkah empat metode yang ditetapkan. Analisis item menggunakan program ITEMAN dan Bilog MG dengan 1 Parameter Logistik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan (1) Rerata Cut Score berdasarkan metode Nedelsky untuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia 28,44, Matematika 23,47, IPA 27. Metode Ebel untuk Bahasa Indonesia 80,75, Matematika 60,21, IPA 77,54. Metode Bookmark untuk Bahasa Indonesia sebesar 51,63, Matematika 51,33, IPA 59,16. Modifikasi Ebel-Bookmark untuk Bahasa Indonesia 81,27, Matematika 79,06 dan IPA 77,44; (2) keyakinan panelis dalam implementasi metode Standard Setting untuk metode Bookmark 81,25%, modifikasi Ebel-Bookmark 62,50%, metode Ebel 43,75% dan metode Nedelsky 43,75%; (3) Metode Bookmark lebih akurat dalam menetapkan cut score mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan Matematika, modifikasi metode Ebel-Bookmark lebih akurat untuk menetapkan cut score mata pelajaran IPA. Modified Ebel-Bookmark for Indonesian is 81.27, Mathematics is 79.06, and Science is 77.44; 2). panelists confidence in the implementation of the Standard Setting of Bookmark method is 81.25%, Ebel-modification Bookmark is 62.50%, Ebel methods is 43.75%, and methods Nedelsky is 43.75%; 3).The Bookmark method is more accurate in determining the cut score for Indonesian Language and Mathematics, modified Ebel- Bookmark method is more accurate to establish the cut score for the science subject.
