Integrity is one of requirements for teachers as a professional educator. Teachers with integrity is a role model for students. Strengthening teachers' integrity is part of government policy to improving teacher quality in the future. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teachers' ethics on teachers' personality, the effect of teachers' behavior on teachers' personality, and the effect of teacher's personality on teachers' integrity. This research was carried out as an effort to encourage performance improvement of renewable energy power plants. The purpose of this study was conducted to measure the level of influence of strategic partnerships in creating better business performance in renewable energy industry companies in Indonesia. Strategic partnerships have an important role in developing business performance, including by encouraging dynamic capabilities, supply chains, and improving the regulatory system owned by the renewable energy business lines in Indonesia. Our previous research model that we published shows that regulation plays a very dominant role, then we modify it by issuing regulatory variables that uncontrollable by management. We try to see the effect of exogenous variables that can be fully controlled. Data related to renewable energy industry is collected and presented in this study for completeness. Test data using partial least square equipped with various supporting data obtained from government institutions and private sector that have sufficient information about renewable energy industry. The findings of this study state that to improve business performance, strategic partnerships need to be carried out optimally through various efforts including strengthening collaboration in aligning the supply chain and developing dynamic capabilities within the organization. For the future, it is expected that all stakeholders involved in the renewable electricity generation industry in Indonesia can improve their business performance so that they can increase electricity supply to remote villages and able to transform use of primary energy sources from fossils to environmentally friendly renewable energy where potential is widely spread throughout region so that sustainable life in the world is more awake.
Corporate reputation is an assessment of stakeholders based on their existence, leadership, and innovation. This study empirically investigates the effects of corporate social responsibility (CSR), dynamic capabilities, reputation, and competitive advantage in manufacturing industries. An active role of manufacturing industries for involvement in CSR is needed by stakeholders in order to sustain the economic, social, and environmental aspects that ultimately increase the reputation of an objective that can be achieved by manufacturing industries. The development of dynamic capabilities is an internal factor for manufacturing industries into sections to win a competitive advantage. The authors conducted a survey to test the hypotheses and designed a SEM to analyze them. The results show that CSR has a positive effect on reputation. Dynamic capabilities have an effect on competitive advantage. This study concludes that reputation has an effect on competitive advantage. This finding integrates insights in a reputation framework into a generalization having a direct effect on competitive advantage in manufacturing industries. This research is expected to provide manufacturing industries with valuable suggestions for management practices to increase reputation and achieve the industrial goals especially to win the competitive advantage.
Smart destinations require a management system that provides convenient real-time use of digital technology in creating, communicating, and delivering value to visitors. Research related to smart island destinations is still limited, let alone those that utilize blockchain technology to create the smartness of the destination. This research is an empirical study that captures the perceptions of stakeholders in the blue economy on smart islands and the use of blockchain technology in order to build smart islands, a destination that consists of many islands that lack connectedness, such as the Seribu Islands in Jakarta, Indonesia. Data were collected using qualitative and quantitative approaches (mixed methods). Qualitative data were collected from scientific journal publications and followed up with VOS viewer analysis, and quantitative data with the questionnaire survey responses from 150 blue economy industry players in the Seribu Islands and structural equation modeling showed that good digital literacy and blue economy management have significant influence on blockchain technology and impact smart islands. This study indicates that, for islands that have challenges in accessibility and connectivity, the presence of blockchain and smart technology is needed to integrate various resources from each stakeholder so that the blue economy in the islands can be developed more effectively and efficiently, while at the same time ensuring the achievement of sustainability.
The objective of the research is to determine the influence of leadership and teamwork toward work ethic of teacher at state of vocational public school at Bekasi District. This research is carried out at State of Vocational High School at Bekasi District, using survey method dan path analysis technique. Research samples were selected as much as 80 teachers using simple random sampling technique. The results show: First, the leadership has positive direct effect to work ethic. That is, improvement of leadership will lead to increased work ethic. Second, the leadership have positive direct effect to teamwork. That is, improvement of leadership will lead to increas teamwork. Third, teamwork have positive direct effect to the work ethic. That is, improvement of teamwork will lead to increas work ethic. The conclusion of this research is that work ethic can be improved by increasing leadership and teamwork.
