Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap financial help-seeking behavior pada mahasiswa di Surabaya. Data yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner kepada mahasiswa S1 dan S2 di Surabaya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi logistic. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa mahasiswa yang kurang mendapatkan financial education, memiliki financial behavior negatif, financial risk tolerance tinggi, mengalami financial stress, dan memiliki financial self efficacy yang rendah lebih membutuhkan financial help seeking dibanding dengan mahasiswa yang memiliki kriteria sebaliknya. Identifikasi dan pemahaman tentang faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada financial help seeking behavior akan membantu pihak-pihak yang terkait untuk merumuskan berbagai kebijakan yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan keuangan seseorang, dalam hal ini mahasiswa.Kata kunci: Financial help seeking behavior, financial education, financial behaviour, financial risk tolerance, financial stress, financial self-efficacy Abstract. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence financial help-seeking behavior among university students in Surabaya. The study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to undergraduate and graduate students in Surabaya. Data analysis was performed with logistic regression. Help seekers tend to have less financial education, negative financial behavior, higher financial risk tolerance, higher levels of financial stress, and low financial selfefficacy. The results of this study are expected to help the concerned parties to formulate various policies that can improve one's financial welfare, in this case, university students.
