Phase and cable identification is a challenging issue. Power-line communication technology is applied to identify cable and phase of power distribution systems. Power cable circuits have only a limited ability to carry higher frequencies. Typically transformers prevent propagating the higher frequency carrier signal. The proposed method uses the limited propagation ability to identify the cable as well as the phase. A new cable and phase identification system is designed and implemented. The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver with power-line communication module. Some experiments are conducted to verify the theoretical concepts in a commercial building. Also some simulations are done to help and understand the concepts by using Simulink simulator. It can extend the application area of power-line communication.
This study presents a new humanoid robot control structure -Man-Function humanoid robot. The sensing devices worn on the human body, these devices will produce signals of joints' change when people move. Computer of the control system receiving the signals and processing them, then issue control signals to the servos of the robot at the same time, control the robot's behavior. For this reason, a control structure of human's behavior to determine the robot's behavior formed. The humanoid robot has 17 servos and two pressure sensors, the rotation of these servos' steering gears lead to the robot's behavior changes and 12 servos corresponding to the human body sensing devices, other 5 servos used for the stability control of the robot combined with the pressure sensors. Based on this control structure, some pilot tests of the sensing device or servo have been done, the closed-loop position control mode has been chosen and the Kalman filter smoothing optimization method been used, the initial static walking control of the robot been realized.
In city, identification for 3 phase-4 wires power distribution lines is difficult due to compound installation of overhead and underground lines, transposition, bad view caused by trees or big buildings. It is necessary that the correct and fast identification method is required for load balancing among distribution lines. Tracing off-line method with high power impulse signal injection has been used recently. Our proposed method uses to identify live lines with very small power high frequency signal injection based on data communication technology. Two end communication terminals are required to be synchronized between them for determination on electrically same phases. Challenging issue is to achieve synchronization without GPS providing synchronizing time. A novel power transformer and phase identification system is designed and implemented. The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver with power-line communication module. Some experiments are conducted to verify the theoretical concepts in a big commercial building.
