Smart home system mainly consists of home networking, wireless local area network and external network, and with the advantages of low cost and high reliability, Zigbee wireless technology is the right choice for smart home system and the main part of home networking. The design of smart home system based on Zigbee is proposed, the Zigbeethe design process of the systemintelligent socket and data communication rule are elaborated. The system has been applied in smart community of Shaoxing Electric Power Bureau, which has good performances, high availability and reliability, better market prospects.
In order to improve high performance and low power of image processing embedded system, A high-efficient image processing embedded system which is based on the field programmable gate array and high-speed digital signal processor in this paper. In the whole system, A novel data transmission structure with a dual-port RAM which is divided into two halves, is applied to buff the high-speed real-time image data by Ping-pong technique. Because all work in the system is divided between the FPGA and DSP in the form of the pipelined, it is 25% higher than the processing system based on the single DSP in performance.
The SiC surfaces were cleaned by the hydrogen plasma with ECRPEMOCVD plasma system at low temperature of 200°C, after the traditional wet cleaning. The surfaces were investigated by RHEED and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy before and after hydrogen plasma treatment. The RHEED imagines showed that the SiC surfaces by hydrogen plasma treatment were more flatter than the SiC surfaces by the traditional wet cleaning, and we found the result that more treatment time, more flatter. The XPS spectra examinations indicated that the surface oxides reduced obviously and the C/C-H compounds on the SiC surface were removed by hydrogen plasma treatment, so the antioxidant ability of the SiC surface was improved.
Smart homes will give the disabled an opportunity for independence that they may not have had before. This paper designs an smart home system that communicates with a mobile device such as a cell phone or PDA via Bluetooth. Their approach sends messages via Bluetooth using the available Bluetooth module on the nodes. This means no further hardware is required and additionally no further costs arise.
The design attempts for thefirst time to realize face locating system on the FPGA platform using themethod combined initiative infrared source with image difference. Through imagedifference process, the system obtains a difference image without backgroundinterference which takes the face as the main body. It can obtain the personface boundary by projecting the difference image in the horizontal and verticaldirection. The system processing speed amount s to the video source frequency25 frame per second, satisfying the timely request; the method of initiativeinfrared source makes the exterior have small influence on the image andguarantees the robustness of the system.
