In this study, it was aimed to analyze the multi-cultural characteristics of the pre-service teachers and the values they have in terms of various variables, to determine the relationship between these values. Descriptive survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the study. The population of the study consisted of the pre-service teachers studying in different departments in the Faculty of Education, İbrahim Çeçen University of Ağrı in 2017-2018 academic years. The sample of the study consisted of 341 pre-service teachers selected with random sampling method. According to the results obtained from the study, it was determined that the value preferences of the pre-service teachers and their multicultural personality characteristics showed a significant difference in terms of gender, undergraduate program, educational background of the mother, having social media account and daily internet use variables; however, there was not a significant difference in terms of family structure, the place s/he grew up, educational background of the father and monthly income variables. The abstract does not include information about which groups are favored for the difference in the variables and in which sub-dimensions, but detailed information is given in the following sections of the study.
Some schools in certain regions of Indonesia are currently really dangerous because they are in the ring area of the fire. In the region, there are also schools located in disaster-prone areas. This research aims to describe modern education for sustainable development by building the online school as disaster solution in the modern era. This research is descriptive qualitative research using a social history approach. The design research method was carried out in four phases: data collection, data display, conclusions, and data condensation. The result of this research is the government should be building an online school as a disaster solution for the generation in the modern era to education for sustainable development.
The purpose of this study is to determine of the teacher candidates’ attitudes and awareness levels towards culturalheritage and to ensure that the teacher candidates gain awareness of cultural heritage. The research is based on anexperimental model from quantitative research approaches and the population consists of teacher candidates who studyin Faculty of Education at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University. Simple random sampling method was used to determinesample of the study. The data of the study was gathered with Personal Information Form and the Cultural HeritageAttitude Scale developed by Akbaba (2014). SPSS 22 program is used in the analysis of the data. According to theresults obtained, it is determined that gender, class and education status of the father are not effective in attitudes andawareness towards cultural heritage, whereas the undergraduate program and education of mother play an effectiverole. It has been determined that the educational trip has positively affected the transfer of cultural heritage,consciousness of cultural heritage and cultural heritage for the society.
