This paper wanted to know about Students' perception in the Economic Education Study Program of their learning English Anxiety. Learning English, especially speaking skills is challenging for students who join the English subject in the fourth semester. This study focuses on the level, the factors, and the strategy how to reduce the student's anxiety. It used descriptive qualitative to implement The Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) questionnaires and interview the students. The researcher found that the students speaking weaknesses such as lack of preparation, scaring they cannot follow the material because the lecturer explains too fast, afraid of their friend's laughter, misspelling, and mispronouncing english words. (1) There were five students on the level of very anxious, (2) Twenty-first students on level anxious, (3) Sixteen students on the level of mildly anxious, and (4) five students on the level of relaxed. For the students to reduce their anxiety by preparing their mood to learn English, practice speaking more, and try to enjoy and relax to love learning english.
The implementation of achieving goals is not an easy thing for the business world; increasingly fierce competition is a difficult barrier. These issues require management to plan, organize, direct, and supervise the resources that are owned appropriately and with useful results. One of the efforts to increase employee productivity in the company is performance appraisal. With this performance appraisal, employee performance can be improved according to their field of work. The efforts that have been made by the company in assessing employee performance are by assessing responsibility, loyalty, and obedience in the hope that employees will work by the directions given for the achievement of company goals. In research entitled "Performance Appraisal as an Effort Manager in order to increase the productivity of employees in order to increase the productivity of employees, "aims to determine the effect of performance appraisal as an effort of managers to work productivity of employees by taking research studies on the textile company" PT. Tootal Thread Indonesia in Pasuruan. By the purpose of this study, the analysis method used to test the hypothesis is a statistical method, where the stages of research analysis use SPSS as a tool and data obtained from employees of the Pasuruan textile company as many as 25 respondents. Carried out based on statistical methods, it can be obtained that in essence, all the performance appraisal factors given to employees together have a significant influence on employee productivity because performance appraisals in the form of responsibility, loyalty, and obedience can lead to goodwill towards employees. Employees carrying out the company's tasks and responsibilities have the most significant influence on work productivity because, with responsibility, employees can complete their work correctly.
This study aims to investigate students’ experiences based on their thesis proposal seminar for Economic Education Students’ Department Study Program at Universitas PGRI Wiranegara. The researcher used the questionnaire to get the data from the students’ experiences based on their thesis proposal seminar at three stages, starting from the beginning up to the end. Based on the result shown that for the first table explained before the thesis proposal seminar presentation exposed that most students’ good understanding of the learning objective of the seminar course (83,3%) and that they felt confident and supported by many resources. For the second table explained during the seminar session, most students agree (70,9%) that seminar encouraged their ideas to share and learn from others, but (45,8%) disagree that group discussion in a presentation session seminar is better than lecturing. The last table explained after the seminar session, showed the students that (93,8%) believe that post-seminar questions and feedback are informative both from lectures and from their friends, also (70,8%) agree that the seminar success through good preparation, and (81,3%) that classmates’ participation supported the seminar’s success.
The pandemic's unpredictable period affected students’ adjustment to daily life, financial costs, burdens, and “new" learning. The researchers believe that those aspects relate each other. Indeed, this research is not simply to know the students’ problem behavior in the “new" learning class, but it also discover things to reduce risks for academic failure. In addition, the researchers felt urgent to discuss about the impact of COVID-19 towards the university students’ learning behavior in order to evaluate some aspects need to encounter by lecturers for successful “new" learning. This was designed as a descriptive quantitative research. The data were taken by using the Problem Behavior Questionnaire (PBQ) distributed to the students through Google Form. The subjects consisted of 21 students of Economic Education Department Study Program, Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, PGRI Wiranegara University. From the questionnaire, the researchers could understand how COVID-19 give impacts on the students in a relation to their sensory, control, and setting/environment. Furthermore, the researchers also evaluated how the students behave towards those counted parts. This research resulted the learning process at pandemic Covid-19 got harder than in the normal situation and it caused many problems in students’ learning behavior. Hence, in order to make the students keep motivated, the lecturers need to give attention and motivation to decrease a negative behavior which also effect to their learning achievement. This study aims to determine; 1) The efforts made by students in developing entrepreneurial potential; 2) The effect of knitting training on the entrepreneurial potential of UNIWARA Students; 3) The results achieved by students with knitting training. This research is a qualitative and data collection technique using interviews. Knitting training plays an important role for students, one of which is to develop skills and explore potential in depth. The results of this training make students enthusiastic about participating in knitting training, because the benefits of this activity can be implemented by creating a knitting product that makes a profit if the product can be sold successfully. The effect of knitting training to develop students' entrepreneurial potential, namely: 1) Increasing the potential for student creativity; 2) Being able to know the potential that exists within oneself; 3) The results of knitting training can be implemented in the community; 4) Creating a work of knitting results; 5) Generate a profit side for works that are successfully sold; 6) Changing the mind set about job opportunities. Based on the results of the research, the researcher gave several recommendations as follows: 1) For students, it is hoped that they will continue to seek experiences at a young age with all the things that can be used. develop creativity. 2) For the next researcher it is suggested to look at other factors that influence entrepreneurial interest such as personality or environment. Alternatively, analyze the factors of interest in knitting training.
