Rendahnya minat membaca pada teks Bahasa Inggris siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 2 Medan, berdampak pada kurangnya pengetahuan terhadap hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan Bahasa Asing yang memang mau tidak mau harus dikuasai oleh siswa-siswi karena menjadi salah satu bahasa yang harus dikuasi di Indonesia Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk mentransfer metode yang baru serta berkembang dan mudah digunakan dalam berkomunikasi serta mempunyai efektifitas yang tinggi terhadap tidak hanya kemmampuan membaca namun juga berbicara sehingga siswa dapat menggunakan bahasa Inggris dengan benar dan tepat gun (sesuai Konteks) dalam lingkup terkecil (kelas). mitra dari kegiatan ini adalah siswa siswi Jurusan Akuntansi Di SMK Negeri 2 Medan. Jumlah sasaran adalah 36 siswa-siswi dalam satu rombongan belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan secara ringkas disertai pengisian kuesioner oleh siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dari 29 siswa yang mengisi kuesioner, sebanyak 20 siswa masih belum memahami metode choral reading danmanfaatnya sementara 9 siswa lainnya sudah memahami metode ini dalam pelajaran Bahasa Inggris

To prosper the mosque requires a good strategy, with a good strategy the program of mosque activities can run effectively and efficiently to achieve the goal of broadcasting Islam and its prosperity. The purpose of the study was to find out how the mosque management strategy in prospering the Al-Furqon mosque in Haurgeulis Indramayu. This research is a field research. This study uses a qualitative research method, with a literature and empirical approach, interview data collection techniques, observation and documentation. The results of the research on the strategies used by mosque administrators in prospering the Al-Furqon Mosque are using socialization strategies for the congregation through a door-to-door approach, and social programs for the congregation so that the congregation can be directed to participate in activities held in the congregation. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pengurus masjid dalam memakmurkan masjid Al-Furqon di Haurgeulis Indramayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Kualitatif, dengan pendekatan literatur dan empiris, teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian strategi yang digunakan oleh pengurus masjid dalam memakmurkan Masjid Al-Furqon adalah menggunakan strategi sosialisasi pada jama’ah melalui pendekatan dari rumah ke rumah, dan program sosial terhadap jama’ah sehingga jama’ah dapat diarahkan untuk mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan yang diadakan di masjid Al-Furqon.Kata Kunci: Strategi; Pengurus Masjid; Memakmurkan Masjid

The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the application of Choral Reading learning strategies relating to texts relating to Economics in learning English; (2) to determine the effectiveness of the application of choral reading learning strategies in English learning to students' reading skills. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles. Subjects in the study were students of class XI with a total of 30 students. Data collection techniques that will be used are observation, documentation, and testing. The qualitative data analysis technique is by doing reflection notes, the thoughts that arise when observing, and are the results of the process of comparing, linking, or linking the data displayed with previous data. The results of this class action research showed an increase in initial ability compared to cycle 1, namely students who completed in cycle 1 numbered 15 students or 50.00%. From the results of the second cycle, it can be written that students who have completed are 24 students from 30 students or 80.00%. From cycle 1 to cycle 2 there was a 30% increase. This proves that the use of Choral Reading learning strategies is very effective.

Online learning is a solution in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic that is used to plan appropriate and efficient learning processes in order to achieve learning objectives well so that the learning experience of students is memorable and can achieve learning goals. The role of technology in education as an innovative creative opportunity for educators to realize a fun, orderly and conducive teaching and learning process by utilizing methods. The learning method is a way or technique of presenting lesson materials that will be used by educators when presenting lesson materials, either individually or in groups. There are several problems faced by students when learning online such as: difficulty in mastering the material due to the learning process, less creative in doing assignments, lack of understanding in planning, managing assignments before presentation, internet network is not optimal. The results of these observers need changes to achieve online learning. Utilize learning methods with applications. Kinemaster as an application that can be used in the online learning process. The Kinemaster application is a video editing application that has many features that make it easier to edit videos, especially creative and interesting learning videos so that students don't get bored, and can play videos of learning material from lecturers many times. The method developed using the Kinemaster application. This type of research uses R & D with the development model of Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel, namely the 4-D model. The learning method developed must be feasible and effective and can improve student learning outcomes.
