Abstract. Many organisations (government of non-government) use websites to share information of new recruitment for the workers. This information overflows on thousands of sites with various attributes and criteria. However, this availability forms a complex puzzle in the selection process and lead to inefficient runtime. This study proposes a simple method for job searching simplification through a construction and collaboration of web scraping technique and classification using Naïve Bayes on search engine. This study is resulting an effective and efficient application for users to seek a potential job that fit in with their interests.
The study was conducted to determine the profile of the written argumentation skills of class XI students at SMA Negeri Sukabumi Regency. The method in this study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects were class XI students of SMA Negeri Sukabumi with a total of 36 students, who had followed the motion system material. The instrument used was in the form of problem descriptions to measure students' argumentation skills with 10 questions that referred to the Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP) argumentation skill indicators. The results showed that students' written argumentation skills were still at level 1-2, students at that level could only include claims, data, warrant and backing indicators in their answers. Whereas the refutational indicators (rebuttal) students have not been able to provide answers using refutation or reinforcement, so that the quality of student argumentation in Sukabumi District High School is still low and needs to be trained so that students' written argumentation skills can develop. Purpose of the study: The objectives of this research are (a) to determine association of gender diversity on boards of commissioners and boards of directors, risk management and infrastructure investment in non-core business to earnings persistence; (b) to find out whether strategy choices could moderate association of gender diversity of the board of commissioners and board of directors, risk management and infrastructure investment in non-core business to earnings persistence. Methodology: This research used multiple regression with five years of observation (2011-2015) and used IBM SPSS statistic version 22 to test the hypotheses. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The results obtained 79 companies from the selection that met the criteria and hence, the total observations are 395 samples. Findings: This research found that gender diversity on board of directors had a positive effect on earning persistence and investment in non-core business had a negative impact on earning persistence. On the other hand, there was no direct effect of diversity gender on board of commissioners and risk management to earning persistence. However, when gender diversity on board of commissioners combined with the type of prospector strategy, it had a positive effect on earnings persistence, so did risk management. Novelty/Originality: This study has a practical contribution to shareholders, investors, board, and academics. This paper underlines that women should be courageous to take part in the business either as a board of commissioners or directors, and the company should provide wider opportunities for women. An investor should carefully with the companies’ strategic choice. This study also has an empirical contribution to filling the literature gap of factors that influence the earnings persistence beyond financial factors. There are limited researches that examined earning persistence, which includes risk management, investment in non-core business infrastructure and strategy as variables.
The objectives of this study were (1) To determine the effect of using passive reflectors and coolers on the output power produced by solar panels. The research method used was an experimental method with a true experimental design model, namely in this design there were 2 systems, the first system was treated, the second system was not given treatment. The variations in treatment in this study are as follows; (1) Solar panels without using passive cooling reflectors and (2) Solar panels using reflectors and passive cooling. Data were collected for 4 days from (08.00-14.00) with a sample of 50 Wp solar modules. The data collection technique used was literature study, performance and testing documentation. The results showed that the results of the solar panel testing power with 2 variations of treatment, namely, (1) The solar panel without using a reflector and passive cooling produces an average power of 47.68 Watts and (2) Solar panels using a reflector and passive cooler are 59.63 Watts. The results of this study indicate that solar panels using reflectors and coolers increase the power by 25.07% of solar panels without using reflectors and passive cooling.
