The impact of psychological factors on transformational teaching (TFT) performance has been widely considered in inclusive and special education. The main aim of this cross-country study was to investigate the role of bio-psycho symptoms (BPS), mindfulness and subjective well-being as serial mediators of the relationship between perceived stress and TFT among Indonesian and Thai special education teachers. A total of 368 participants--177 teachers from Indonesia and 191 teachers from Thailand--completed self-report measures assessing the mentioned variables. Descriptive and correlational analyses were conducted. Serial mediation analyses found that in addition to the negative direct effect of stress on TFT, subjective well-being was a mediator among Indonesian special education teachers, while BPS, mindfulness and personal well-being were serial mediators among Thai special education teachers. They can be recognised as partial mediations on the proposed model. Findings suggest that the effect of stress on TFT is weakened by mindfulness and subjective well-being. Importantly, special education teachers may benefit from evidence-based stress management interventions and mindful-wellness programmes to achieve better implications for their teaching.
This study aims to analyze how the representation of science process skills in science learning tools from a neuropsychological perspective uses tools that are valid, practical, and also effective in training science process skills which will later produce an image or representation of science process skills. This study uses three stages of the 4-D model, with the stages of definition, design, and development. This research is only limited to development. The representation of the learning device was tested in the fifth grade of elementary school with a one group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that the representation of science process skills was interesting and easy to understand. By showing learning practicality data, device validity data, and also device effectiveness data in representing science process skills. Assisted by a very positive student response, it shows that the neuropsychology of students looks good. Overall, the representation of science process skills using this learning tool can help students process thinking more logically, and balance behavior better.
Legislasi Undang Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2008 menandai era baru penyelenggaraan pelabuhan di Indonesia.Penyelenggaraan pelabuhan yang diusahakan secara komersial mengalami perubahan dari service port menjadi landlord port. Perubahan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kinerja pelabuhan yang efektif dan efisien. Otoritas pelabuhan menjadi regulator yang menjalankan fungsi pemerintahan, sedangkan badan usaha pelabuhan menjalankan fungsi pengusahaan di pelabuhan.Enam tahun pasca legislasi ini, kinerja pelabuhan di Indonesia belum menunjukkan perbaikan yang signifikan. Secara inheren, tata kelola pelabuhan bersifat kompleks karena melibatkan isu yang lintas sektor dan berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Keberadaan dirijen menjadi syarat wajib untuk mengarahkan dan mengendalikan orkestra yang diungkit oleh visi kolektif untuk mewujudkan sistem pelabuhan yang berdaya saing, efisien dan responsif. Selain itu, perubahan lingkungan eksternal yang dinamis mensyaratkan perlunya struktur organisasi yang fleksibel dan adaptif untuk merespon perubahan, serta didukung oleh penerapan balanced scorecard sebagai strategi untuk menginterasikan berbagai interaksi dalam suatu kesatuan sistem manajemen.
