This study aims to develop e-comics as a learning medium to improve life skills of young children. The approach used is research and development. This research method is a mixed methods design. The subjects in this study were kindergarten students group B, teachers and head master Batik Kindergarten Kudus. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. e-comic was developed referring to the stages of development carried out by Borg and Gall. The results showed that e-comic learning media is feasible to be applied in learning to improve early life skills of children. Quantitatively, the assessment of material experts is (3.87) in either category. Expert assessments are based on curriculum appropriateness, correctness of content and ways of presenting the material included in both categories), and media expert assessments obtained scores (4.0) media expert assessments are based on production considerations, visual design, and technical quality, scores (4.0) in either category. While the assessment given by students in the field test stage (3.88), wider field test (3.99), and operational test (3.91), the acquisition of the score indicates that the e-comic learning media is categorized as good, which means that e-comic learning media are effectively used to improve early life skills. Qualitatively, e-comic media as a learning medium to improve life skills can attract students' attention to learning, facilitate student learning, and stimulate students to remember material more easily.
Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran matematika yang valid dan praktis untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa pada materi aritmatika sosial untuk siswa SMP kelas VII. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan, dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall dengan instrumen penelitiannya lembar wawancara, lembar angket, dan lembar validasi. Teknik analisis data diperoleh dari penilaian dua validator dan penilaian kepraktisan terhadap 2 guru dan 32 siswa, yang kemudian dianalisis. Hasil validasi aplikasi KREASI menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi termasuk dalam kriteria valid dengan skor 3,1. Hasil penilaian kepraktisan guru dan siswa, guru menyatakan aplikasi termasuk dalam kriteria praktis dengan skor 3 dan penilaian siswa menyatakan aplikasi termasuk dalam kriteria praktis dengan skor 3,2.
Early child independency spurs creativity improvement. Essentially, independency is caused by educational effort by implementing life – reliability education since early childhood.This quasi experimental research with pretest and posttest design covered learning scenario arrangement to find out the initial condition of children before intervention. Initially, an assessment in the form of behavioral test was done randomly and was observed. Self – reliability learning promotion assisted by media and the already prepared real activity through various games which were designed by the researcher and teachers. The subjects consisted of B group students taken by total sampling. It was all population taken into sample, consisting of 26 children. The data collection was done by using two collecting instruments: observation and documentation. Before being tested to the respondent, the data was tested to ensure the reliability of the instruments’ functions as well as to check the validity and reliability of the instrument. The data were analyzed statistically by comparative test. The findings showed there was difference of the creativity improvements between pre and post intervention and observation during learning process. There was strong relationship between pre and post training and observation which influenced life – reliability to improve creativity.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan proses berpikir spasial mahasiswa pada mata kuliah geometri ruang ditinjau dari kecerdasan intrapersonal. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muria Kudus tahun akademik 2020/2021. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pedoman wawancara, dokumentasi, soal tes kemampuan spasial dan angket kecerdasan intrapersonal. Subjek penelitian terdiri 2 mahasiswa dengan kecerdasan intrapersonal tinggi dan 2 mahasiswa dengan kecerdasan intrapersonal sedang. Subjek penelitian diberikan tes kemampuan spasial kemudian dilakukan wawancara secara mendalam terkait proses berpikir spasial. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan triangulasi metode, yaitu hasil tes kemampuan spasial dan hasil wawancara dibandingkan dan dicek kembali derajat keyakinan seorang subjek untuk memperoleh keakuratan penemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketercapaian kemampuan spasial pada tingkatan baik pada subjek yang memiliki kecerdasan intrapersonal tinggi maupun sedang. Hal tersebut dikarenakan mereka berpikir terarah dan fokus untuk mencapai tujuan, memiliki kepercayaan diri yang tinggi, banyak terlibat dalam kegiatan mandiri, memiliki sikap kemandirian yang tinggi, kesalahan masa lalu dijadikan pembelajaran untuk masa depan, belajar dan bekerja seorang diri dengan baik.
