As a multiethnic and multilingual population, Lampung province can be broadly divided into two groups; the indigenous population (Lampung ethnic) and immigrant population. Abung Lampungese community, as one of Lampung ethnic, has a unique and varied terms of address, and it also has a rule of use. This study aims to investigate the forms and the rules of terms of address used in Abung Lampungese by using qualitative descriptive design, observation and interview as the data collection techniques. There are ten terms of address and twelve factors of the terms of address rules and norms in Lampungese found in this study, each of which portrays the relationship between the speaker and the interlocutor.
Love and self-esteem can be fulfiled by the teacher through teachers’ directive speech act strategy (TDSAS). Teachers need to use teachers’ directive speech act strategy to make the students feel loved and respected and emerge the students’ positive affective color response (SPACR) which creates a fun, effective and conducive learning process. Some verbal abuses made by the teachers affect the students’ psychology (inferiority, trauma, laziness, and has no motivation to come to school). This study aimed to portray the Indonesian language learning in junior high school using TDSAS-SPACR with a synectics model to improve the quality of the process and learning outcomes. Using the descriptive-qualitative method, the results showed that the TDSAS based learning which emerges SPACR creates an effective and fun Indonesian language learning in junior high school.
Cinta dan harga diri merupakan kebutuhan dasar siswa yang dapat dipenuhi guru melalui strategi tindak tutur direktif guru (STTDG). Untuk menjaga perasaan siswa agar merasa dicintai dan dihargai, guru perlu menggunakan STTDG yang dapat memunculkan respons warna afektif positif siswa (RWAPS) sehingga pembelajaran berlangsung kondusif dan menyenangkan. Kenyataannya, masih ada kekerasan verbal yang dilakukan guru dan berdampak pada psikis siswa (rendah diri, trauma, malas). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memerikan STTDG yang be-RWAPS sebagai basis dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP. Oleh karena itu, kajian STTDG yang beRWAPS sangat penting dilakukan. Berdasarkan hal itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan STTDG dalam pembelajaran dan RWAS terhadapnya.Sejalan dengan tujuan penelitian, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif-fenomenologis. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, teknik catat, sadap rekam, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi komunikasi tindak tutur direktif guru (TDG) terdiri atas memerintah, meminta, melarang, menyarankan, menanya, dan mengajak; realisasi TDG dengan strategi direct/langsung dan indirect/tidak langsung; STTDG yang mendapat RWAPS ialah (a) tuturan langsung, (b) mengandung unsur pujian, (c) menggunakan sapaan penanda sayang dan nama, (d) menghindari penggunaan kata saya dan kamu, (e) melibatkan penutur dan mitra tutur dalam kegiatan, (f) menggunakan penanda permintaan halus, (g) mengandung lelucon, (h) mempertimbangkan keinginan mitra tutur, (i) mengupayakan kesepakatan, dan (j) tuturan tidak langsung. Sementara itu, STTDG yang be-RWANS tuturan yang (a) tidak langsung mengandung ironi, (b) menyapa dengan kata seru, (c) membandingkan, dan (d) mengandung unsur celaan.Kata Kunci: strategi tindak tutur direktif, direct-indirect, respons warna afektif
The problem of this research was how to develop and feasibility of teaching materials for Student Worksheets based on a Scientific Approach for learning personal letters and official letters for seventh grade Junior High School/Madrasah Tsanawiyah students. The purpose of this research is to produce, describe feasibility, and test the effectiveness of teaching material products in the form of Student Worksheets in seventh grade in learning personal letters and official letters based on the Scientific Approach. The research method uses the DDD-E model, namely Decide (determine Goals), Design (design products), Develop (development), and Evaluate (evaluation). This research was conducted at SMP N 1 Anak Tuha, class VII A and VII B. Data collection techniques were interviews and questionnaires. The results of the study showed that (1) student worksheets for personal letters and official letters for seventh grade students at junior high schools/Madrasah Tsanawiyah were successfully developed and validated by teaching material experts, material experts, and practitioners; (2) Student worksheets that were developed were stated to be very feasible with an assessment percentage of 87.5%, 90.63% and 98.6%; (3) based on a comparison of the pretest, posttest, and N-gain from the use of Student Worksheets for learning personal letters and official letters that were developed to get scores of 0.75 and 0.71, included in the high category so that they are effectively used in learning.
This research was conducted with the aim of creating product development LKPD writing an exposition text based on the discovery learning model, describing feasibility the LKPD, and test eligibility the LKPD for students class X high school. The method in this study uses the research and development (R&D) method belonging to Borg and Gall. The subjects in this study were class students X in the SMA Negeri 5 Bandarlampung. This study uses data collection techniques by means of documentation, observation, interviews, and questionnaires in the SMA Negeri 5 Bandarlampung. The data obtained in this research was then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive technique. The results of this study show that LKPD Menulis Teks Eksposisi Berbasis Model Discovery Learning has been successfully developed into a product needed by students. Material experts, media experts, and practitioners stated that the student worksheets were declared very feasible for use by students with 93 assessment presentations. Student worksheets were considered effective for improving the ability to write exposition texts for each student in the SMA Negeri 5 Bandarlampung with an N-gain value of (0.48) included in the very good category.
