The novel pixel circuit was proposed for the microLED display.We applied the progressive emission and PWM to use tens of μA current and hundreds of us emission time in considering of EQE characteristic. The proposed circuit was verified to operate stably in depletion mode of a‐IGZO TFT.

We propose a novel microLED pixel circuit for mobile and wearable displays. For Normal and AOD mode operation, we applied PWM & PAM hybrid driving and PAM driving, respectively. Under the 4‐duty emission condition, we confirmed that the Vth compensation of the PWM unit, and the grayscale expression for each mode.
