Many studies have been conducted on da'wah through YouTube, but the researchers in this study specifically analyzed the use of YouTube for preaching from the perspective of millennial society. This study is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach, data obtained through interviews and documentation of several millennial people who are considered representative in providing information related to research needs. The research findings show that people like to watch da'wah through YouTube and da'wah is delivered effectively, the advantages of YouTube in da'wah are in terms of audio-visual presentation of da'wah, flexible time considerations, and completeness of da'wah material delivered compared to da'wah through video on social media. Apart from the joy of being mad'u in participating in da'wah activities via YouTube, they also conveyed that there was a change in mindset, attitude and behavior after listening to the da'wah messages conveyed. This illustrates that the community has felt the benefits of using YouTube as a propaganda medium, such as in the preaching of Ustadz Adi Hidayat, K.H. Abdullah Gymnasitiar, Ustadz Abdul Shomad, Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi, Ustadzah Syifa Nurfadhillah who have quite a lot of followers and likes that there are up to thousands and positive comments in each of his studies.
Talks within the organization can lead to contention. This is caused by a lack of understanding communicator of the character of the communicant. As a result, the work atmosphere becomes uncomfortable and affects employee discipline of work. Therefore, leaders need to have interpersonal communication skills to create a conducive organization to work with higher discipline. This study aims to determine leadership interpersonal communication's effect on improving employee discipline of work in the Information and Encoding Communication Office (DISKOMINFO), Sinjai Regency. This study is a survey research using a quantitative approach. The data collection method used a questionnaire and documentation, while the data analysis was quantitative analysis with descriptive statistics. Interpersonal communication is carried out by leaders who greatly influence creating employee work discipline in the Information and Encoding Communication Office (DISKOMINFO), Sinjai Regency.
Media sosial telah membangun “dunia baru” yang bisa dijelajahi oleh siapa saja dan dapat membuat konten dan “cerita” mereka sendiri. Dunia baru media sosial memberikan realitas paradoksal terkait pemanfaatannya pada anak remaja. Sejatinya media sosial harus memberikan dampak positif, tetapi justru anak remaja hanya terdampak negatif, yaitu lupa waktu dan lupa bahwa mereka masih anak sekolah. Akibat negatif media sosial tersebut tidak mengecualikan anak-anak di Desa Pattonggko Kecamatan Sinjai Tengah Kabupaten Sinjai. Oleh karena itu, dalam situasi dan kondisi demikian peran orang tua dalam menangani dampak negatif media sosial di Desa Pattongko Kecamatan Sinjai Tengah sangat dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh media sosial pada remaja sekaligus peran orang tua dalam menangani dampak negatif media sosial pada remaja. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis dan bertempat di Desa Pattongko Kecamatan Sinjai Tengah Kabupaten Sinjai. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak media sosial pada remaja terdiri atas dua bahagian besar, yaitu dampak positif dan dampak negatif. Dampak negatif akibat media sosial ditangani oleh para orang tua remaja dengan melakukan beberapa upaya, yaitu melakukan pembinaan, melakukan pendampingan, dan membangun sinergitas antarorang tua.
