Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi inovasi sebagai upaya meningkatkan kinerja bisnis dan keunggulan bersaing industri kreatif digital di era revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik penarikan sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Ukuran sampel yang digunakan adalah 50 pelaku usaha industri kreatif digital di Provinsi Jawa Barat yang mengetahui dengan jelas proses inovasi pada industri kreatif digital. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, in depth interview dan focus group discussion /FGD dengan pelaku industry kreatif digital, tim peneliti, komunitas industri kreatif digital, dan expert di bidang industri kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa industri kreatif digital di Jawa Barat memiliki permasalahan dalam menetapkan strategi inovasi yang tepat. Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah penetapan strategi inovasi pada tiga aspek yaitu inovasi produk, inovasi proses, dan inovasi pemasaran. Hasil penelitian dapat memberikan implikasi bagi perusahaan dalam bentuk strategi inovasi yang tepat dan membantu pemerintah daerah dalam merumuskan kebijakan yang tepat bagi tumbuh dan berkembangnya industri kreatif digital di Jawa Barat. Penelitian dengan topik inovasi pada industri kreatif digital masih jarang dilakukan sehingga diharapkan hasil penelitian ini bisa menjadi kebaruan/originalitas yang dapat memperkuat penelitian dengan topik yang lain pada industri kreatif digital

The study aimed to identify the types of plants suitable for cover crops on mature oil palm. The study was started by conducting microclimate measurements and vegetation analysis in a mature oil palm ecosystem with plant subjects consisting of 5 years and 10 years old plants. The measurements and analysis were carried out in August 2018 to select suitable plant samples. The research was continued by planting 6 selected plants under the shade of 0, 25, 50, and 75% using nested design to determine the responses of plant samples to various levels of shading from September 2018 to April 2019 at the Cikaawang IPB Experimental Field. The results of microclimate analysis in 5-year-old mature oil palm in Jonggol shows the light intensity of 1094.7 lux with a temperature of 28.5 oC and humidity of 68.76%, while a 10-year-old mature oil palm in Cikabayan had a light intensity of 997.8 lux with a temperature of 32.5 oC and humidity of 87.25%. The species of Asystasia gangentica, Axonopus compressus, Borreria alata, and Ottochloa nodosa were the dominant plant vegetation in two ecosystems. Asystasia gangentica was able to grow and optimally cover the area at all shading levels, while Axonopus compressus, Borreria alata, and Ottochloa nodosa can only grow and cover the area optimally at 0% and 25% and 50% shade, respectively.

This study examines the effect of innovation on the competitiveness of the handicraft sector creative industries in Indonesia. The number of samples was taken as many as 205 SMEs spread in West Java in a proportional random manner. The technique of data collection is done by the questionnaire directly to the respondents. The data analysis technique in this study is a structural equation model (SEM) approach. The use of SEM allows researchers to test the validity and reliability of research instruments, confirming the accuracy of the model while testing the effect of innovation variables on competitiveness variables. The statistical tool used in this study is AMOS version 23. The findings reveal that innovation has a significant positive effect on the competitiveness of SMEs. This study shows thatinnovation is an important factor that can increase competitiveness. Companies that are able to innovate appropriately will be able to compete with other companies.
