CAMS-R is a measurement instrument designed for normal adult participants. There have been a few studies conducting lingua-cultural adaptation of CAMS-R in the Indonesian context, but such studies have not touched on the discourse of Muslim mothers. Accordingly, this study aimed to conduct linguistic adaptation of CAMS-R by translating it into Bahasa Indonesia. Also, it aimed to examine the measurement model to find whether the structure of CAMS-R was confirmed relevant to empirical data or not. At the stage of forward translation, this study involved 5 participants, namely two translators and three psychologists with doctoral academic qualifications. The stage of back translation engaged 3 participants, namely a bachelor in English and two linguistics experts. The pilot study incorporated 10 readers, and the try-out involved 103 Muslim mothers between the ages of 20-40 years old. Data analysis used confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Results demonstrated that the measurement of mindfulness construct had high goodness of fit. The results of model fit evaluation indicated chi square of 8.742 (p=.557), GFI of .976, AGFI of .932, CFI of 1.000, TLI of 1.014, and RMSEA of .000. The foregoing depicted a good fit of goodness. CAMS-R contained 12 items and left 7 items with loading factors above 0.5. (.585 – .887). Composite reliability (CR) sub-scale resulted in the scores of .713 – .785, and its overall CR scale was .936 and AVE of .736 – .739. The foregoing data indicated good convergent and discriminant validity. This study emphasized that CAMS-R could ideally be used to measure mindfulness for the Indonesian population of Muslim mothers between the ages of 20-40 years.
This phenomenological qualitative research aims to explore the learning strategies used by Islamic Religious Education lecturers in building the character of religious inclusion in the aspects of knowledge, feelings, and aspects of doing. The research informants comprised 15 lecturers who teach religious subjects at the Islamic Religious Education Study Program IAIN Curup. Data was collected using semi-structured interviews. The data collected was analyzed in three steps: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The validity of the data was checked using triangulation of technical sources. The results show that learning strategies to build character in religious intelligence can be carried out not only by providing knowledge and understanding. However, it must be accompanied by the development of attitudes, feelings, skills, and training to cooperate and provide students with real-life experience in a plural society.
Teacher interaction with students is crucial in the learning process, but not all teachers can do it well. Library research with a thematic approach (maudhu'iy) aims to reveal the pattern of teacher-student interaction based on mercy based on the Koran Surat Ali Imran: 159 and al Kahf: 60-82. The research data comes from primary and secondary data, then analyzed by content analysis and comparative. The results of the study revealed that there are several basic principles contained in sura Ali Imran: 159 and surah al Kahf: 60-82 related to mercy-free interactions, namely interactions must be carried out gently, not harshly, forgive each other, based on deliberation, earnest, sincere and trustful and must be done with great affectioner, based on deliberation, and sincerely. Sincere and trustful and must be done with love.
This study aims to reveal the family's contribution, support, and hope in instilling the values of Islamic education in order to form an Islamic character. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, with research informants being parents of teenagers with relatively good Islamic characteristics. Data collection techniques using interviews. Checking the validity of the data was carried out by triangulating sources and analyzing through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The study results show that the family's contribution to instilling the values of Islamic education to shape the Islamic character of adolescents is carried out by guiding, directing, and being an example in practicing the values of deep Islamic education. Several supporting factors include the existence of TPQ and places of worship in the community. The challenge is that teenagers still need to be independent in implementing the values of Islamic education, and there is the influence of social media which has an impact on the attitudes and behavior of teenagers.
Caring for the environment is vital for students, but not all students have this attitude. One of the causes is the low awareness of students about clean living. This qualitative research with a phenomenological approach aims to explore the pattern of internalizing Islamic educational values about clean living to form an attitude of caring for the environment at the Khoiru Ummah Curup Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT). There were 8 informants in this study, 1 principal, 1 curriculum representative, and 6 teachers. Data collection techniques used semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation, then analyzed through four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or data verification. Checking the validity of the data using extended observations, technique triangulation, and source triangulation. The study found that the internalization of educational values about clean living to form an attitude of caring for the environment was carried out in three patterns: introduction and understanding, curriculum intervention, and habituation. The activities carried out in the three patterns are oriented towards the same goal: forming students' habits to have environmentally caring attitudes and behaviors.
