The article deals with the problems of strategic management using the methods of multidimensional statistical analysis. In agribusiness, the gap may occur in the use of modern management tools; therefore, the strategies used by agricultural producers are not always formalized. To study the latent strategies as the models of economic behavior, the technique of identification of strategic alternatives was developed based on the system use of the cluster analysis, trend analysis, and the method of canonical correlations. The proposed technique allowed identifying four latent strategies used by Russian agricultural producers in the production of grain. A detailed study of the parameters of economic activity of the two model enterprises representing the strategies of costs minimizing and intensification allowed to draw comparative conclusions concerning the influence of the nature of spending on the outcomes, dynamics, and stability of the production and its effectiveness.
The article deals with the analysis of the status and trends of the development of the dairy business in Russia, particularly through the example of the Stavropol Territory. The analysis is indicative of the relocation of milk production in the sector of small and medium agribusiness due to the cow population decline: on the one hand, in the sector of large agricultural enterprises, and on the other handin the sector of household plots. A dependence of economic efficiency of the dairy business on the increase in the size of cow population has been found, but the scale effect is underused because of inadequate investment attractiveness of this type of business. Quality management should be used for increasing it. The article presents the evaluation of possible changes of status of dairy breeding based on the forecast of the key performance indicators of the industry broken down by categories of households in the region through analytical graduation and trend extrapolation. The scenario forecasting of the development of the industry in the agricultural enterprises of the Stavropol Territory served as a basis for the identification of the focus areas of the state support of the of the dairy business development on the basis of quality management. Recommendations for increasing the efficiency of dairy business (with the help of increasing the productiveness of milk cows by means of increasing the breed structure of cattle, improvement of farms, implementation of the innovational technologies of cattle-breeding management, and improvement of feeding) and for increasing the quality and milk and milk products through refusal from using mixtures and through production of "eco-milk", its branding and certification are offered. Guaranteeing high quality of "eco-milk" (high nutrition, high fat level, and rich vitamin structure) will allow reducing elasticity of demand for it and will stimulate successful development of entrepreneurship.
The article provides data on the calculation of the economic efficiency of cultivation of hybrids corn of domestic and foreign selection - Mashuk 171, Monsanto DKS 3939, AS-201 against the background of two methods of basic tillage, methods of basic tillage - disking PM 5 ? 4 by 10 ... 12 cm and plowing unit EuroDiamant from Lemken for 25 ... 27 cm. The work was carried out in 2016–2018. in the soil and climatic conditions of the Prikubansky region of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. The soil of the experimental site is a typical carbonate heavy loamy chernozem on loess-like carbonate clays and loams with a humus content of 5%, mobile phosphorus and potassium - 30 mg / kg and 389 mg / kg soil, respectively. The predecessor was corn for grain. The advantage of using plowing as the main method of soil cultivation was revealed, the level of profitability for the studied hybrids was from 111.7 to 53.6%, which is higher than in the variant with disking from 40.2 to 27.1%. As for the hybrids, the greatest economic effect was obtained from the cultivation of foreign breeding hybrids – Monsanto DKS 3939 and AS-201.
The article presents the results of a comparative assessment of the effectiveness of the use of traditional and organic technologies for growing vegetable and fruit growing products on the example of the Stavropol Territory.
