ABSTRACTThe Rotaliinan Foraminiferans gathered during the collecting activities of the German PUCK Expedition on bord of the R/V Sonne (Cruise SO 156: Valparaíso-Chiloé) are described. Samples were obtained with a multicore between 125 m and 3485 m depth. The analized samples yielded 579 > 150 µm rotaliinan shells/cm 3 , in which were found 61 spp., 29 genera and 19 families. New record to the Chilean coast is Family Quadrimorphinidae and new records to the area between Concepción (36ºS) and Guaitecas islands (44ºS) are: Astrononion tumidum, Bolivina cf. danvillensis. In addition a new species, Cibicides moyanoi sp. n., collected between 41º S and 44º S, is fully described.
