Abstract. We , 1997, 1998]. We have used our model results to put constraints on the rates of gas-phase and heterogeneous reactions that would be necessary to produce appreciable amounts of OBrO in the stratosphere. These constraints show that if OBrO is indeed present in the nighttime stratosphere at the pptv level, our current understanding of atmospheric bromine chemistry is severely flawed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
