The understanding of public services processes by citizens is a complex task, because they do not know how these services work and the institutional challenges when performs them. Aiming the improvement of that understanding, serious games could contribute, once these games have the potential for teaching and engaging players in many different contexts. Therefore, this paper presents the initial results of scientific initiation project, which is grounded in the digital game design for public services processes. Resumo.A compreensão de processos de serviços públicos pelos cidadãos é uma tarefa complexa pois muitos deles desconhecem seu funcionamento e desafios das instituições ao executá-los. Visando melhorar tal compreensão, os jogos sérios podem contribuir, já que eles possuem características de ensino e engajamento de seus jogadores, nos mais variados contextos. Portanto, este artigo apresenta os resultados iniciais de um projeto de iniciação científica que se baseia no design de jogos digitais baseados em processos de serviços públicos.
