Along with the reduced reserves of energy sourced from fossils, making dependence on oil andgas fuels must be shifted to alternative energy. Furthermore, Karawang Regency has a coastline of84.23 Km in each coastal area, which the yard of its residents' houses is overgrown with coconuttrees. Coconut shell is a solid waste from processed coconut which has been taken from the coconutmeat. However, there are still many people who do not know how to manage it, so they just cast itaway. By educating and outreaching to the community, especially the youth on how to managecoconut shells into briquettes, it is hoped that they will know more about how to manage waste intosomething that has a selling price. The use of coconut shell charcoal briquettes is in line with thesolution to current global problems related to pollution, alternative energy and environmentallyfriendly technology. The training started from collecting coconut shells,to molding and drying.Increasing understanding and awareness through training in making simple briquettes is expectedto have an impact on young people being able to know and also have ideas to later open up businessopportunities that can advance the economy in the areas they live in.

The presence of the Integrated Online Complaints (POT) application created by the Bekasi City Administration provides an opportunity for citizens to submit complaints and reports various problems that occured. However, community participation using this application is still limited. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the influence of POT application users characteristics on their communication behavior to the Bekasi City Administration. This research used an explanatory sequential mixed method with the total sample consisted of 100 people. The results showed that the perception of trust, suitability, and perceived ease of POT users were significantly related to information seeking and information dissemination. This indicated that POT users would disseminate information when they believed the application has helped them in solving problems. Users who felt satisfied and considered the application easy to use also tended to recommend it to relatives, friends and others around their environment. POT users felt that the problems they have been facing were handled more quickly after reporting complaints through the application, However, the communication and response of the Bekasi City Administration were still inadequate.

This study discusses the balance of the 2019 presidential election campaign coverage on Antaranews.com. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive content analysis method which is carried out through coding techniques on the news that has been determined as a sample in the study. The research was conducted by coding news samples through Westerstahl's objectivity theory. The objectivity of news can be measured through this theory, which has two dimensions, namely, factuality and impartiality. Coding is done by analyzing the sentences in the news through these dimensions which are divided into several indicators. The results of the study found that there was a tendency for the 2019 presidential candidates to report on Antaranews.com. The news on the presidential candidates on Antaranews.com tended to be more towards Joko Widodo. This is evident in Jokowi's reporting, which tends to show more positive opinions and a larger portion of the coverage.

It has been argued that the provision of suitable participatory communication can improve people’s participation especially for taking Covid 19 vaccines. The present study aims to analyze the participatory communication of Bekasi local government to reach their goal, making minimum of 30% Bekasi population receiving vaccine. The present study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews and documentation. Four key informants are interviewed while mass messages from the key informants are observed. The results of present study suggest that participatory communication related to the administration of Covid 19 vaccines to Bekasi residents involve Regional Work Units (SKPD) to the lowest local apparatus such as Neighborhood Association (RT) and Citizens Association (RW).  Messages are spread using WhatsApp Groups of each RT. In addition, residents who have not taken the vaccine will be encouraged to take vaccines at the nearest vaccination posts.
