The introduction of information technology at the institutional level in modern society requires a change in the methods and organizational forms of education. Unlike traditional educational technology, the use of electronic systems for organizing educational and scientific activities creates conditions to provide the educational process with the quality of continuity through the technological integration of online tools in traditional forms of educational and scientific activities of students. The article presents the views of scientists on the theoretical and practical aspects of organizing video conferences and webinars. The opportunities offered by video conferencing and webinars for educational and scientific activities of students, as well as the main areas of preliminary work on the video conferencing and webinars preparation, are determined in the article basing on the results of an expert survey.
In the era of pandemic covid-19, many people have been exposed to this virus, now personal and environmental hygiene is a top priority for most people, all activities can't run normally, social distancing becomes mandatory and do not go out of the house up to work from home, all was done to maintain their health and safety. Along with the many activities carried out from home during pandemic covid-19, the use of internet connections to be able to stay connected to the outside world whether it's for work, shopping, learning has increased dramatically so the role of information technology to be very necessary at this time. Seeing the conditions that occur at this time, where the level of concern for life safety is very high, we propose a system that can make it easier for people to access health services in the form of online consultations with doctor's specialist, access information about health up to purchase of medicines and health equipment. Later in the presence of this mobile application, it is expected to make it easier for the public to reach access to health services without any worries, because they don't need to leave the house and touch physically except in urgent conditions that need to be referred to the hospital, at least the presence of this mobile application is the first step in providing health services that are easily accessible for public.
The article is aimed at a detailed examination of the prerequisites for the introduction of visual content into the educational process in the foreign language course during distance learning and at defining a list of prerequisites for its successful processing by students. The article proves that the search for new trends and approaches to education leads to new goals and new types of knowledge. All innovations in higher education contribute to the formation of a new image of future professionals. The relevance of the problems of higher education technologization is associated with the countless number of innovations, among which the authors single out the visualization of educational information in distance learning. The article shows the importance of visualization in distance education. The given technology includes both visual presentations of information and the development of visual thinking during the educational process. Educational material and an effective visual teaching method allow making the educational process interesting and non-standard and increasing students’ motivation to learn English. Thus, the visualization of educational information is a tool for distance learning technology. The article identifies the preferable visualization tools based on the survey of students based on the results of the use of visualization in distance English language learning. According to the summary of the results of distance English language learning, it is proposed to divide the visualization process into several stages.
Due to a large number of massive open online courses (MOOC), it becomes more and more difficult for the users to determine which course best suits their needs. To improve the efficiency of course selection, a place is needed where they can visually compare the offers of different MOOC providers. The article aims to identify the number and characteristics of massive open online courses for language learning (MOOLC) using MOOC aggregators and to trace their impact on the development of language education. The article presents different approaches to such concepts as MOOC, MOOLC, MOOC platform, MOOC aggregator and MOOC provider. The article determines MOOC aggregators, which would allow identifying the number and characteristics of MOOLC, and examines the possibilities of some MOOC platforms, which offer courses for English language learning, basing on the selected criteria for evaluation of the existing MOOC platforms. The author concludes that nowadays, the ideal MOOC platform, which could offer the necessary conditions for creating an ideal MOOLC, does not exist.
