Analisis dan Penugasan UMKM dengan teknik riset operasi untuk memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh UMKM menjadi sebuah solusi jitu dalam mengantisipasi ketidakstabilan profit pada masa pandemi Covid-19. UMKM adalah suatu usaha yang dimiliki oleh perorangan atau organisasi bisnis yang memenuhi standar usaha mikro. UMKM yang diteliti berada di salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Karawang. Produk yang dihasilkan oleh UKM ini hadir dalam berbagai bentuk kerupuk seperti kerupuk jengkol, udang, rambak dan kerupuk putih. Untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang ada pada UMKM tersebut digunakan metode sederhana yaitu Integer Linear Programming untuk mencari keuntungan optimal dari UMKM tersebut dan metode Assignment Hungarian untuk menangani permasalahan penugasan agar lebih optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pemrograman linier, metode simpleks diketahui memberikan hasil yang maksimal. Maka dari itu, penjualan kerupuk harus difokuskan terhadap kerupuk Rambak (X3) yang dijual seharga Rp. 6.000.00,-. Kemudian, untuk metode Hungarian, waktu optimal yang dihasilkan adalah total 205 menit per hari. Kemudian selain menggunakan cara perhitungan manual juga digunakan alat hitung dengan menggunakan software POM-QM dan dihasilkan jumlah yang sama untuk masing-masing cara.
Work productivity can be influenced by body posture or attitude when workers do their work and the conditions of the work environment are less ergonomic. PT. XYZ is an organization participated in the Truck Body industry. Assembling workers at XYZ Company still uses human labor in the welding process or cutting the component assembly process. Jobs with less ergonomic positions can cause fatigue to workers and are at risk of causing Musculoskeletal Disorders. This study expects to decide the degree of work injury in Assembling laborers and is expected to be a recommendation for companies to improve work station conditions. The information taken is as photographs while Assembling laborers go about their responsibilities. The review was directed utilizing the Nordic Body Map interview technique, the consequences of the survey showed grievances to laborers with average score of 63.3. Based on the risk level classification table, the score is categorized as moderate and needs to be improved. Then further investigation was done utilizing the REBA and RULA strategies to decide the state of the specialist's body act while going about his job. The consequences of the review show that the REBA estimation of the stance of Assembling laborers has a high gamble and requires changes. With respect to the aftereffects of the computation of RULA for laborers in the Assembling part of XYZ Company is classified as moderate yet in addition not excessively unsafe and remedial move can be made.
Green coffee beans to be stored for transportation must meet storage quality standards, especially the maximum moisture content of 12.5%, so the drying process must be carried out to achieve quality standards, but still economical. The study aims to obtain optimum operating conditions on the drying of Arabica-type coffee beans using a fluidized bed dryer assisted by zeolite adsorbents in a separated fluidized bed prior to heating, as well as calculating the energy consumption of blowers and air heater. The operating conditions were varied, namely air flow rate of 1.79 – 2.29 m/s, air temperature of 45 o C, 50 o C, and 55 o C, zeolite adsorbent mass of 150 g, 175 g, and 200 g. The coffee beans quality tests carried out were the moisture, carbohydrates, protein content, and the visual appearance of the beans. The results show that the optimum drying process of coffee beans resulting a minimum protein and carbohydrate damage are the air velocity of 2.1 m/s, air temperature of 55°C, drying time of 240 minutes, and zeolite adsorbent mass of 150 grams, with energy consumption of 5.02 KWH (equivalent to 180 MJ/T). The addition of zeolite as much as 150 grams, 175 grams, and 200 grams as adsorbent was able to reduce the relative humidity (RH) of air by 16.65%, 18.60%, and 21.17% respectively. The drying rate of coffee beans is mainly influenced by air temperature (more predominantly) than the adsorption of air humidity by zeolite.
