ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar kecilnya ketimpangan pembangunan yang terjadi di Kabupaten Luwu pada tahun 2011-2019. Adapun penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa data sekunder Kabupaten Luwu dan Rata-rata Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan pada tahun 2011-2019. Teknik Analisis yang digunakan untuk analisis deskriptif yaitu menggunakan matriks Tipologi Klassen , sedangkan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan Indeks Williamson. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Berdasarkan nilai Indeks Williamson atau tingkat ketimpangan antar Kabupaten Luwu dan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan berada posisi yang relatif rendah mulai dari tahun 2011-2019 hal ini dibuktikan selama masa pengamatan nilai indeks hanya berputar pada angka 0,23 sampai 0,29. 2) Berdasarkan Matriks Tipologi Klassen Kabupaten Luwu termasuk sebagai daerah yang tertinggal selama masa pengamatan kecuali pada tahun 2013,2014,2015 pada tahun tersebut Kabupaten Luwu termasuk daerah yang berkembang cepat. Kata kunci: Ketimpangan Pembangunan, Indeks Williamson, Tipologi Klassen ABSTRACK This study aims to determine the size of the development inequality that occurred in Luwu Regency in 2011-2019. The research is descriptive and quantitative research. The data used in this study are secondary data of Luwu Regency and the average of South Sulawesi Province in 2011-2019. The analysis technique used for descriptive analysis was using the Klassen typology matrix, while the quantitative analysis used the Williamson Index. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Based on the Williamson Index value or the level of inequality between Luwu Regency and South Sulawesi Province, it is in a relatively low position starting from 2011-2019. This is evidenced during the observation period the index value only rotates at 0.23 to 0.29. 2) Based on the Klassen Typology Matrix, Luwu Regency was included as a lagging area during the observation period except in 2013,2014,2015 in that year, Luwu Regency was a fast developing area.
