Penelitian bertujuan mendapatkan varietas dengan adaptasi luas yang mampu tumbuh dan menghasilkan produksi optimal pada lahan marginal pertanaman bawang merah, yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani, mengurangi ketergantungan impor bawang merah, menjadi pengekspor bawang merah menuju kedaulatan pangan. Metode yang akan dipakai adalah metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang teridiri dari lima varietas bawang merah sebagai perlakuan yaitu varietas Bima Brebes, Tajuk, Bauji, Super Philip, dan Lokal Enrekang. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Pengolahan data dengan SPSS Software, Versi 22, dan jika terdapat pengaruh yang nyata, maka dilakukan uji beda dengan Uji Duncan pada taraf α=0,05. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada lahan percobaan STIP Puangrimaggalatung Sengkang. Parameter yang diamati terdiri atas pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bawang merah. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa varietas bawang merah yang cukup adaptif adalah bawang merah varietas Bima Brebes dan mampu mengahasilkan rataan produksi sebesar 12.08 t ha-1

This experiment was carried out in January-March 2021. The research was located in the Atakkae Village, Tempe District, Wajo Regency. The experiment used a randomized block design with four treatments and three replications, namely: no treatment (control), bokashi 15 kg/bed (50 tons/ha), bokashi 35 kg/bed (116.66 tons/ha), and bokashi 50 kg /bed (166.66 tons/Ha). Each experimental unit consisted of 56 plants which were repeated three times so that there were 672 plants in total. The experimental results on statistical analysis on variance showed that plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, fresh weight of plants, fresh weight per plot had no significant effect, but tended to be best produced by giving bokashi straw 35 kg/bed (116.66 tons/ha)
The threat of an economic recession in 2023 raises concerns. Farmers, as the main supporters of food production, also feel that rice, the main food of the Indonesian people, must always be available in sufficient quantities. The population explosion during the pandemic was caused by high birth rates. Population growth must coincide with adequate food security so that there will be no famine and other chaos as a follow-up impact. The success of farmers in increasing agricultural output should be enjoyed in the form of social welfare and health. This study aims to see the relationship between increasing food production and social welfare and health. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection using questionnaires Analysis of the study's results using linear regression It was found that there was a significant relationship between increased food production and farmers' social welfare and health. This research can be a reference for continuing to increase food production through the opening of new agricultural land. Another option is to reduce the conversion of agricultural land into settlements or offices. Thus, farmers have the opportunity to continue to maintain their food production numbers
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Wiringpalennae Kecamatan Tempe Kabupaten Wajo. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini mulai bulan Maret sampai Mei 2021. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi petani terhadap dampak kerebahan tanaman padi di Kelurahan Wiringpalennae Kecamatan Tempe Kabupaten Wajo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 25 petani yang melakukan penanaman padi di Kelurahan Wiringpalennae, Kecamatan Tempe, Kabupaten Wajo dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampilng; simple random sampling, dimana peneliti menentukan populasi (petani) untuk menjadi sampel yang dilakukan menggunakansampel jenuh atau menggunakan semua populasi sebagai sampel. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian persepsi petani terhadap dampak kerebahan tanaman padi di Kelurahan Wiringpalennae, Kecamatan Tempe, Kabupaten Wajokhususnya di Wilayah Tonronge dan Timorosecarakeseluruhanadalah sebanyak 81,54% masuk dalam kategori“tinggi”karena berada pada nilai presentase 41-100%.
Kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) di Indonesia merupakan komoditas pertanian terpenting setelah kedelai yang memiliki peran strategis pangan nasional sebagai sumber protein dan minyak nabati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi atau campuran penggunaan kedua pupuk POH dan NPK terhadap peningkatan produksi tanaman kacang tanah Sulawesi Selatan khususnya yang dibudidayakan di daerah Kabupaten Wajo. Penggunaan pupuk POH dan Pupuk NPK pada budidaya tanaman kacang tanah sudah sering dilakukan, akan tetapi belum diketahui seberapa jauh pengaruh kombinasi atau campuran penggunaan kedua pupuk tersebut terhadap peningkatan produksi tanaman kacang tanah Sulawesi Selatan khususnya yang dibudidayakan di daerah Kabupaten Wajo. Berdasarkan hasil percobaan yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan beberapa hal, yaitu: . konsentrasi POH 30 cc/liter air cenderung memberikan pertumbuhan dan produksi terbaik pada semua parameter pengamatan tanaman kacang tanah, dosis NPK 100 kg/ha cenderung memberikan pertumbuhan dan produksi terbaik pada semua parameter pengamatan tanaman kacang tanah, dan tidak terdapat interaksi konsentrasi POH dengan dosis pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kacang tanah tetapi cenderung memperlihatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi terbaik pada kombinasi perlakuan konsentrasi POH 30 cc/liter air dan dosis NPK 100 kg/ha (p3a1).
