The research on the reagent extraction of sulfides from water-alkaline solutions was presented in the article with the purpose of their possible practical use as a component of special high-temperature grease in high-friction steam. The conditions for obtaining pentasulfide sodium and its adsorption on mixed sorbents (AC + K) were established. The complex-coordination mechanism of copper (II) sulfide formation and the method of obtaining new carbon-sulfur-containing plastic oils were offered, as well as their tribological properties in the friction pairs of roller four-row bearings were investigated.
The article deals with the studies on complex sorption treatment of industrial waste of various industries to obtain new C, S, N-containing plastic lubricants, which provide antiwear, antifriction, high load-bearing and heat-resistant properties. The conditions for obtaining diethylammonium salt from the obsolete pesticide Banvel D and its sorption on a mixed sorbent, which consist of activated carbon (AC) and kieselguhr (K), have been established. The conditions for obtaining potassium diethyldithiocarbamate and its adsorption on the surface of the mixed sorbent (AC + K), followed by treatment with copper(II) sulfate of corresponding bis-(diethyldithiocarbamato) copper(II) sorbed on a solid surface, have been examined. The obtained substances of general composition [sorbent (AC + K)]•[(C 2 H 5 ) 2 NS(=S)S] 2 Cu were studied as active components of plastic lubricants, which provide their thickening, antiwear and antifriction properties. Industrial tribological research was carried out for friction pairs of four-row roller bearings of roller equipment used at private enterprise (PE) "Exim" (Kherson, Ukraine).
Within the framework of the concept of "green chemistry" and cyclic economy (economy of closed technological cycles) the extraction of chemical pollutants Cu 2+ , S 2-, HS --ions from wastewater of various industrial productions was investigated. The research was integrated into a single technological cycle of obtaining new carbon-sulfurcontaining lubricants for special purposes. The loading and antifriction properties of the developed plastic lubricants were investigated. It was established that the antifriction properties (f fr ) of the developed plastic lubricants are 1.25-1.45 times higher those of the Konstantin-1 industrial lubricant Konstantin-1 and can be used in the work of friction units of various machines and mechanisms. The tribotechnical results of the developed plastic oils in the "steel-aluminum" friction pair are justified, first of all, by the presence, of technical graphite brand LG-1 plastic oils, its modified forms of "pseudographite" and pyrocarbon, as well as sulfur-containing components CuS x and thiobenzaniline (TBA) in the composition.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
