Purpose. Analysis of the current state and prospects of Ukraine coal industry development until 2020.Methods. Complex analysis of data regarding mine productivity, coal reserves, mine funds as well as coal consumption and electricity generation has been presented in the paper. The studies of statistics related to geological and extraction thickness in longwall faces are discussed.Findings. The current state of Ukraine coal mining industry and prospects of its development for the period until 2020 are considered. The analysis of Ukraine mine fund conditions is carried out. Statistical data of gross coal production at state-maintained and private mines are given. The reasons for low profitability and coal production decline in the country are considered. Results of the research into ash content of extracted coal, formation and accumulation of mine waste are interpreted. The main promising trends of efficient energy resources use and reduction of environmental impact on coal-mining regions are emphasized.Originality. According to the analysis of the current state of coal industry, several options of its further development are formulated. Practical implications.The presented results can be used to evaluate the investment attractiveness of Ukraine coal mining enterprises.
ConCePTuAl APProACh To finAnCiAl SuPPorT of reGionAl TerriTory infrASTruCTure DeVeloPMenT Purpose. A theoretical overview of the conceptions related to financial support of the city government, as well as scientific and applied substantiation of the conditions necessary for the formation of the territorial infrastructure, which will enhance potential prospects of its enterprise development.Methodology. By way of scientific generalization, we have determined the peculiarities of using enterprise approach to creating the objects of territorial community infrastructure and developed an analytical approach to assessing the schedule of the received payment disbursement in terms of credit price, provided a quantitative assessment to different options of liabilities discharge.findings. Analysis has been used to justify the dependence of the raised funds costs on the schedule of their disbursement. Economic prerequisites, which significantly influence the final results of the enterprise project, have been specified. Emphasis has been made on the possibility to optimize financial and credit relationships between business subjects and banks. The optimal inter est rate, which ensures satisfactory demand for credit financing, has been identified. Feasibility of the accelerated schedule of credit resources disbursement has been proved for the conditions of putting the object into the starting operational capacity. Orga nizational and economic prerequisites of financial solutions to social problems associated with the territorial community demands were determined in terms of enterprise approach principles.originality. It has been established that there is an analytical dependence between the total costs of the credit reimbursement and the term of the business object commissioning into operation. It was found that the crediting schedule (accelerated, regular, slow) influences the value of the involved costs. The advantages of using enterprise approach to implementation of projects related to the development of infrastructure on the community residential territory have been determined.Practical value. It was proposed to apply an alternative approach to ensuring development of the territorial community in con ditions of limited target financing.
The aim is to conduct experimental research into graphitization process of anthracites from the Donbass basin using shock heating, which is characteristic of furnaces with electrothermal fluidized bed. Methods. Graphitization was carried out in an electrothermal furnace at the heating rate of 1000 K/min and exposure time of 10 minutes. The temperature range of the studies was 1973-2873 K. The structure of the material was studied by X-ray diffraction and the electrical conductivity of the coal particles layer was determined using a CamScan 4DV scanning electron microscope with Link760 attachment. The changes in ash and sulfur content were determined. Findings. It was found that with an increase in the processing temperature, the interlayer distance d002 decreased from 0.350 to 0.341 nm, the ash content decreased from 3.46 to 0.4%, and the relative electrical conductivity increased by 4 times. The absolute value of anthracite graphitization degree significantly differed from the values characteristic of artificial graphite. This may be due to insufficient exposure at the studied temperatures, as well as the production of a porous, insufficiently densified coal structure during high-speed heating to 1573 K. Originality. The principal possibility of obtaining graphitized anthracite using shock heating in furnaces with electrothermal fluidized bed and the possibility of assessing anthracite graphitization degree by the value of the relative conductivity of coal particles layer are shown. Practical implications. The practical implementation of the new technology is possible after determining the optimal parameters for graphitization of anthracites, which provide a deep structural adjustment characteristic of artificial graphites. First of all, this concerns the preliminary heating of anthracite to the temperature of 1273-1373 K, as well as choosing the temperature and exposure during graphitization. Determination of these parameters will allow to evaluate the technical and economic indicators of the new technology and to adjust the design parameters of furnaces with electrothermal fluidized bed.
Summary. The article presents the study of the morphofunctional indicators of the heart in adolescent girls who go in for dynamic sports, and their comparison with the indicators of physically inactive peers. Purpose – to determine the features of physical development and morphofunctional indicators of the cardiovascular system in girls 15-17 years old who are engaged in dynamic sports. Materials and methods. 16 girls aged 15-17 years were examined, who had been involved in dynamic sports for a least two years: half of them engaged in basketball and sports dancing, as well as athletics, badminton, football, tennis, swimming, kickboxing. The comparison group consisted of 18 phisically inactive female peers. The examination included an assessment of the state of health, physical activity, anthropometry. The morphofunctional characteristics of the heart were determined using echocardiography (ECHO-CG + Doppler ECHO-CG). Results. The average indicators of the physical development of female athletes did not differ from those of physically inactive girls. 32% of girls in the first group had high growth. Systolic blood pressure in girls of the first group was higher than SBP in hypodynamic girls (p ˂ 0.05), but was within the normal values. Female athletes had significantly larger interventricular septal thickness, systolic size and volume of the left ventricle, myocardial mass and left ventricular ejection fraction than physically inactive girls (p ˂ 0.05). Conclusions. 1. Dynamic sports affect the physical development of adolecsent girls, 32% of them are tall. 2. In girls aged 15-17 who have been involved in dynamic sports for at least two years, there are changes in the morphological and functional characteristics of the heart. This is accompanied by increased systolic function of the left ventricle. These changes are adaptive, which have arisen as a result of regular physical activity. But it is possible that they may also be the initial signs of heart remodeling. 3. Medical supervision of girls with sports loads should include an assessment of the morpho-functional parameters of the heart using an annual instrumental examination. Preserving the health of a sports girls, along with ensuring the development of her physical data and achieving sports success, is the most important task for the joint work of a doctor and a sports coach.
This article presents the analysis of Ukrainian mining sciences journal -"Mining of Mineral Deposits" (English acronym -MMD). Our paper presents a case study of a journal in the field of mining sciences and describes the first year of implementing a new concept of the journal. The results can serve as a reference in future studies of the journal in a new form. The findings of future research may be an indication as to whether the adopted policy of internationalization of the journal is effective and increases the impact of the Journal in World Science. Special consideration is given to website visitors activity and visits frequency statistics. It appears that MMD is improving its position within the group of leading and original Ukrainian mining periodicals.
