Chest recoil generates V depending on an adequate distending pressure. This has previously been demonstrated in adult animals. A pressure of ∼25 cm HO is needed to achieve an adequate V delivery.
A better result can be obtained by starting with a DV-generated plan and then improving it by adding gEUD-based improvements to reduce the number of iterations and to improve the optimum dose distribution. Advances to knowledge The DV-gEUD plan provided superior dosimetric results for treating BBC in terms of PTV coverage and OAR sparing than the DV plan, without sacrificing the homogeneity of dose distribution in the PTV.
Cerebral proliferative angiopathy is a rare type of cerebral vascular malformation. It shows distinct angiomorphological features with a clinical presentation that differs to that of classic arteriovenous malformation of the brain. We describe a 15-year-old girl who presented with recurrent headache and limb weakness. A subsequent angiographic diagnosis of cerebral proliferative angiopathy was made. The clinical features, pathophysiology, and treatment of this condition are reviewed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
