The Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher at the Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School Mojokerto-Based Middle School is the class manager. In practice in the field, PAI teachers face many obstacles in managing the classroom. The Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School-Based Middle School in Mojokerto has tried to carry out classroom management strategies well and maximally. This is proven by several achievements in academic and non-academic fields. The purpose of this study is to describe classroom management strategies in improving student achievement in Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School Mojokerto-Based Junior High School, and to describe the obstacles and solutions to overcome the obstacles faced. This research is a field research The findings in this study are the classroom management strategy in Islamic Religious Education learning in improving student achievement at the Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School Mojokerto-Based Middle School which includes 4 (four) activities, namely structuring the learning environment, teaching methods for teachers (educators), class administration, and setting behavior and giving motivation to students. Barriers faced by teachers in implementing strategies classroom management consists of internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include motivational factors and students' psychological conditions. External factors include time and media allocation constraints. The inhibiting factor, namely the diversity of characteristics of students, teachers / homeroom teachers who have different understandings in classroom management.
Purpose – The right assessment strategy can reduce the number of academic dishonesties during online learning in the pandemic era. Academic dishonesty is a problem considered normal but has a detrimental impact on the development of a nation. Therefore, instructors need to know the principles of assessment that can reduce the number of academic dishonesties in universities. Design/methods/approach – This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study technique. This literature comes from several online assessment books, articles, handbooks, and others. The procedure used in this study involves selecting a topic, developing themes, selecting problems, searching for literature in the database, and selecting and evaluating literature based on these problems. Findings – The results of this study are in the form of online learning assessment principles that can be applied in designing assessment activities. First, design a student-centered assessment that includes self-reflection. Second, design and include grading rubrics for assessing contributions to the discussion and assignments, projects, and the collaboration itself. Third, include collaborative assessment. Fourth, encourage students to develop skills in providing feedback. Fifth, use assessment techniques appropriate to the context and learning objectives. Sixth, design an assessment that is clear, easy to understand, and guaranteed success in the online environment. Seventh, ask students for input on how the assessment is carried out. Research implications – This study contributes to the development of literature regarding the online learning assessment process, especially in universities. Originality/value – Future research should be able to test these online learning assessment principles to find empirical evidence of their effectiveness.
Situasi pandemi saat ini merupakan situasi yang harus dihadapi oleh seluruh masyarakat dunia termasuk masyarakat Indonesia. Ketahanan pangan merupakan salah satu penunjang kehidupan utama yang dalam masa pandemi Covid-19 ini harus tetap dipertahankan. Dibutuhkan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang inovatif dan prospek guna memenuhi kebutuhan ini, salah satunya adalah kebutuhan sayur dan protein. Dalam rangka meningkatkan dan menunjang ketahanan pangan warga dalam menguatkan ketahaan pangan yaitu melalui program BUKANNAMBA (Budidaya Ikan Dan Tanaman dengan Timba). BUKANNAMBA merupakan salah satu kegiatan mahasiswa-mahasiswi KSM Tematik UNISMA 2021 di desa Racitengah Sidayu Gresik dengan mtimbaikan pendampingan pertanian sistem aquaponik dengan nama BUKANNAMBA, yaitu sebuah sistem pertanian hasil modifikasi berupa pembudidayaan ikan lele sederhana dengan menggabungkan sistem pertanian hidroponik dengan budidaya akuakultur dengan memanfaatkan media sederhana berupa timba. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan dengan melalui beberapa tahap; Persiapan, Pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pendampingan ini yaitu warga desa Racitengah mampu mengadakan BUKANNAMBA secara mandiri di rumah masing-masing, di mana kebanyakan warga memang sebelumnya mengalami kesulitan jika ingin menciptakan ketahanan pangan melalui pertanian dan perikanan karena keterbatasan lahan. Sehingga dengan kegiatan ini masyarakat dapat menciptakan ketahanan pangan yang kuat secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan.
